As Leo and Usagi walk the streets of New York, Usagi sees a shark Plushie. Usagi buys it and sees a mini shark keychain. He buys it too and acts really normal about this, while Leo is eyeing him down.
Leo clears his throat to grab Usagi's attention. "So you like sharks or??" Leo says confusingly, Usagi just blankly stares and calmly says, "my pet Spot loves sharks, so i buy a lot of shark stuff. For him and me so we can match." Leo still looks confused but doesn't mind it, it's kinda cute.
They walk out of the shop and they go to the ice cream truck, "so what ice cream you want bunny-boy?" Usagi thinks for a moment, "uhhh chocolate i guess?" He says slightly regretting his decision. " beginner choice but ok ok" . Leo orders chocolate and Rainbow ice cream.
Leo hands Usagi's ice cream to him. They both sit down and chat about random things, "and then Chi was 'Usagi no!' and then i got injured and then my friends came to me and Chizu was like holding me and then i wake and baam! Everyones happy" Usagu says licking the melted ice cream off his hand. "Wow, nice, that's really cool. Now who's Chizu, i don't remember you mentioning a girl named Chizu before."
Leo asks seriously but light-heartedly, "oh yea she's like the mom of the group, even though she has a lot of mommy issues. It's a thing where she comforts us but she doesn't want us to comfort her thing." Usagi explains calmly. "Oh ok, i totally missread that" Leo says emabarrased. "Oh it's ok, other people mistaken me and Chizu dating cause we are close, she's like my mom."
"Aww adorbs" Leo says, ""thank you" Usagi proudly replies. The day starts to get dark and Leo and Usagi walk to a quiet area in the city, "thanks for spending some time with me Lee. It was really fun" Usagu smiles, Leo chuckles "same here, but hey we can make this a normal thing?" Usagi thinks for a moment "wanna visit Neo-Edo next time we do this?"
"Sure! I'd love too!" Leo says happily, "and maybe i'll see your friends" Usagi's smile goes down a little. "Yea that sounds.. great Lee" Usagi says. Leo opens a portal to Usagi's place, He goes in and before the portal closes, the rabbit mouths the words bye to Leo while waving to him.
Leo waves bye back and the portal closes. Leo walks back out before Raph and Donnie confront him. "So you went on a date with the rabbit, and you didn't tell us?" Raph says, while Donnie raises an eyebrow.
"You were following us the whole day? And you think we're going on a date? Guys Usagi's just a friend!" Leo says, very annoyed what they did. "Nice, i didn't know you could find a lover. Thought you would always be single actually"
Donnie says bluntly, "we are friends, don't be overdramatic" Leo says snarkily. Raph and Donnie put duct tape on Leo's mouth and wrists and carried him back to the layer.
"Night Leo" Rays as he throws Leo to his bed. Donnie didn't come inside his room cause the lights in it hurts his head. "Yea yea whatever."
Usagi arrives to the house where Gen is cooking food and Toshiko is playing with spot, while Chizu and Kitsune are chatting on the couch. Usagi awkwardly waves hi to them. "Hey guys" he mutters.
"How did the date go?" Chizu asks while gesturing for the rabbit to sot next to her and Kitsune. "First of all it was not a date. And second it was nice, it was really fun" Usagi smiles, Kitsune asks "and whats that?" She points at the 2 plastic bags he was carrying.
"Oh right! I have some stuff for you guys, and for me and spot." "Ohh let me see!" Kitsune looks excited. Usagi pulls out some accessories for Kitsune. "Niceeeeeeeee" Kitsune stands up and goes to her room. "Here's a shirt Chi, i didn't know what you like so i just got you a shirt. It has cats on it"
"Thanks Usagi, you didn't had to get me anything though" Chizu says as she folds the shirt back. "Well i did, anyways Gen i got you some new bandaids so you don't have to go to the hospital for minor things!" Usagi stands up and hands Gen the bandaids. "Thanks! That hospital bills is starting to pile up, thanks Farm boy"
"No problem, and Toshiko i got you a jacket. Here" Usagi hands Toshiko a jacket, "it's so pretty! And it's the color i like! Thanks Yuichi!" The rabbit smiles while giving Spot the Shark plushie. "And here you go boy."
So Usagi, how was the date?" Chizu asks while going out of Kitune's room. Usagi's ears go down and replies again "for the millionth time i told all of you, it wasn't a date. Me and Leonardo just hung out in his city. That's it."
"Ok ok ok, how was you and this boys 'hang out'?" Kitsune say sarcasticaly. "It was nice, Leo and i just walked and talked and ate food. It was really calming and fun" Usagi says cheerfully.
"Aw cute, anyways is that snacks? Gasp did you bought us biskets!? Oh wait is that candies!?" Usagi looks at the bag he was bringing. "Oh yea, this is food. But no it's not candies or biskets. Or anything sweet really"
"Oh.. ok what is it then?" Toshiko asks. "Chips, breads, ingrediants for cooking, and a lot of pizza" Usagi says while scowering threw the bag.
"Oh ingrediants? What are they? Are there any spices?" Gen says walking towards them, letting the food boil in the meantime. "Oh it was just the stuff you asked me to pick up 2 days ago if i ever went out."
"Wait there's basil there?" Gen asks. "Yea, we went to the market and there were a lot there. Even though the basil Auntie grows is better, but i'm not going to judge" Usagi calmly replies.
"Oh sweet! Wait are they small? Cause i hear a lot that plants that are sold in the city are a little small. And i saw some myself and they were small" Gen asks.
"They are a little small, but if we run out again i'll just drop by auntir and ask for some plants for you" Usagi says while rubbing the back of his head. "You sure? I don't want to be a nuesance to your aunt." Gen says worried
"Oh don't worry, it won't be a problem" Usagi says patting Gen's back. "She likes that people ask for her veggies! Just don't ask onions, she doesn't grow that stuff." He says in a serious manner.
"Alright, i'll just ask her for some basil" Gen says backing away. "Ok!" Usagi turns cheery again.
