"If you want my advice forget that asshole I have no idea what he did to you but it must've been pretty horrible for you to be sitting outside this restaurant ruining your amazing make up. I don't know what happened between your mom, or what's even going on in your life right now, but I want to help. How about you forget about those crazy races for one night, and come to the party with me." He nudges, I finally pick my head up and face him. 

"Niall. You don't understand. But thanks for the offer." I sigh.

"Avalon, I may not know you but it sounds like a broken heart I've been there. It feels like you can never love that way again, or be loved like that you have everything and they didn't even care. It feels like your sinking and everyone around you can't tell but you still put on a smiling face and go against the world. The closest people don't even know how much they messed you up. But you still want them." He turns his head away from me. His hands are interlocking each other between his legs. 

"Exactly." 

I breathe I wipe the last of the tears from my eyes turning my fingers black.

 "I don't understand.." he scuffs. "Now. Your two mojitos in, how about we get you a tad plastered. Now a lovely lady like you needs to go fix their make up like I said and let's get going." "Thank you Niall, really you helped." He pulls me into a hug at first I don't hug back, but something sparks to where I pull him in letting his warmth take me over. we stand there interlocking arms for a moment. 

"Niall it's not even ten yet." "Don't worry about it I can pull some strings and get out of it." he winks. Niall holds the door open for me, "thank you." I courtesy. "Hey Lex, you about done?" I walk back to a half drunk mojito and an empty plate to a girl who is playing with her hair and a smile on her face. 

"You okay Ava? You look like hell, You left pretty quick and I figured you needed a little time to yourself." Niall shows up behind me. "I got the location for the races." I state, staring at Lex. I turn around "Niall give us just a second." He walks away. 

"After that breakdown you still want to go?" A wide eyed Lex questions. I take my seat again and continue to eat what's left. "Honestly Lex I do, just to race, but this party sounds good too. So I'll leave it up to you my love. You choose what we do tonight." I finish the steak and take what's left of lexis mojito and chug. "If it helps your decision. I wanna get plastered." Alexis smiles and smacks her hands on the table pushing her chair out. "Party it is. but you really need to fix your make up, man it's just ugh." She cringes while laughing. 

I walk passed Niall " check please." while winking.
