Chapter 13

After deciding against wearing a dress and just throwing some skinny jeans and top on me I went on doing my hair and makeup, good God how much I hated doing that. While cursing and swearing like a sailor in my mind there was this talk I was having with my conscience. I wanted to get back at Ava but stupid conscience was against it. Well fuck it, whatever happens happens. Hooray.

Around half eight the lads came to pick me up. Their jaws dropped when they saw my new hair colour.

"-Close your mouths boys, it's highly unattractive." I said and Nath snickered.

"-You look hot." Jay finally said.

"-See, told you." Nath added.

"-Yadda yadda yadda." Was my answer.

"-You knew?" Tom finally asked.

I assume Nath nodded because then Tom added smirking:

"-So you're not only fuck buddies but you also do couple stuff."

I just shook my head and went to put on some shoes.

"-Seev you are very quiet tonight." I said to him when I came back.

"-I'm still in shock." he said and I laughed.

"-You'll get over it eventually. So what's the reason behind this party?"

"-Since when do we need a reason to party?"Tom said seriously.

"-Good point."

"-For how long are you going to avoid talking to Max?" Nath whispered.

"-So Max how's Ava? Finished spilling all my life or does she need more time?" '

"-Jodi." Seev said shocked.

"-Nah let her be. At least Ava can keep a relationship more than a few weeks." Max bit back. I gave him a wtf look and then it hit me: they are together and of course Ava told him everything about me, she can't keep her mouth shut not even if her life depended on it. Oh the bitch is gonna get it. I spaced out trying to figure out what to do next. Hmmm, I got it. Over the past 2 years I got quite close to her brother, we're sort of friends and he owes me something and knowing that the only thing Ava told me was to never ever have a thing with her brother, well this comes in handy.

"Hiya Mark. You know how you owe me for the last time we went out? Well guess what? I need your help. It involves your sister btw." I texted furiously on my phone.

"-Who are ya texting so furiously?" Tom asked amused.

"-Someone that's not you?" I asked trying not to let them keep me from planning everything.

"I had a feeling that sooner or later it will come to this. What did she do? And what do you want me to do?" Mark texted back

"Let's say that to her my life is some sort of a joke and she decided to share that with her new bf and his band mates. I was willing to forgive her after she told them about my dad but now, well there's no way back. Ummm you come to the party tonight and we act overly friendly and when she asks, we tell her the truth plus adding that we shagged at one point or another. LOL."

"-Where and what time?" he texted back.

I texted him the address and grinned like a cat that just got the cream.

"-What evil stuff are you up to?" Jay asked.

"-Me? Nothing." I said trying to sound convincing.

As soon as we got to the party I tried to avoid Ava, well at least till Mark get here.

"-Hi there sexy." I heard Mark saying. I turned around and his jaw dropped.

"-Hello to you too." I said and kissed him on the cheeks.

"-Wow you look smoking hot. Red suits you."

"-Thank you. Have you seen your sister?"

"-I think she was swapping saliva with Max." he said quite disgusted.

"-Yeah, sounds about right. I wonder if she had to get him drunk to sleep with her." I laughed.

"-Oh my, yeah like she did with Lucas(one of Mark's  best friends)"

"-You know, I still wonder how could I be friends with her. We don't even have much in common and we're total opposites."

"-I wondered the same thing, honestly you got more in common with me than with her." Mark laughed and put his right arm around my waist."

"-Guess we should start our act, she's coming our way and she looks seriously pissed." I said and we both laughed.

"-Mark what the hell are you doing here and with Jodi." she hissed.

"-Well my beloved sister, Jodi is my friend and she invited me." Mark said calmly.

"-What? Shagging Nath isn't enough for you? Do you have to go so low to try to shag my brother too?" she asked and I almost lost it but Mark spoke first.

"-She doesn't need to try, unlike you she doesn't need to get them drunk first. Plus she already has." he winked and I swear to God if I wasn't suppose to make her believe that we did had sex, I would be rolling on the floor with laugher, man her face was priceless.

She stormed off, probably to find Max. I looked at Mark and we both cracked up.

"-Holly... fuck.... her....face..." Mark managed to say in between laughter.

"-We do make one evil team."

"-You mean awesome." he said and high fived me.

"-Yeah, thank you for this."

"-No problem, anytime. I'll let you do your stuff I gotta meet up with Alex." he said and winked.

"-You know that at one point or another you gotta tell them right?"

"-I know but till I manage to get on my feet I have to keep this from them. I still depend on my parents so I'd rather not have them disown me before I make my own money, serious money."

"-Alright, I'm here if you need anything."

"-I know, take care and I fear Ava is not the only one pissed off." he said and nodded towards the bar where Liam was sending us death glares.

I walked to him and annoyed I asked:

"-What the hell is your problem?"
