"WHAT DO YOU MEAN WIZARDS ARE REAL?!"

Percy's day has been going great, although he
couldn't say the same for the other demigods. He, Annabeth, Nico and Will had been called to the Big House by Chiron, who was in the process of explaining the existence of wizards.

Annabeth was livid, yelling at Chiron at the top of her lungs, a bit of unsavoury language included, her face twisted in rage.

Percy, on the other hand, just sat there silently, not even surprised at the existence of wizards. Or that's what it apparently looked like to Annabeth, as she wheeled on him, fixing her steely glare on his face.

"And why are you not surprised, or at least acknowledging this. There's a whole 'nother race out there, and we're supposedly some of them!"

Percy just shrugged, before pointing out a fact, "Romans, magicians, take your pick. It's not the first time we've been told there's more."

Nico and Will snickered at Annabeth's expression, as Percy raised an eyebrow, waiting for her to respond.

After a few minutes of awkward silence, and obvious struggle to think of a comeback, Annabeth settled on, "Whatever," which is perhaps the worst comeback she could have picked.

But Percy wasn't done yet. "Besides," he continued. "Why shouldn't wizards exist, as I just mentioned, Romans and magicians do; not to mention your cousin Magnus. He lives in Valhalla for Zeus' sake!"

The daughter of Athena was fuming, her grey eyes stormy, but Percy just didn't care. With a smirk, he stated calmly, "I never thought you were one to swear, especially not at Chiron! What happened to being an angel?"

With a face contorted in rage, Annabeth snarled, "Shut it you di-"

"Uh uh uh," Will tutted, interrupting her. "Watch your language, there are young ears in the room!" the son of Apollo gestured to his boyfriend, whom elbowed him hard in the ribs.

"I'm at least seventy years older than you!" Nico protested, before Will smothered him in a hug.

For the first time since Annabeth had raised her voice, Chiron spoke up, "Alright children, enough! You must all learn at Hogwarts as exchange students, and you must not, under any circumstances, tell the wizards about the existence of Demigods. Understood?"

Nico, Will and Annabeth nodded, while Percy just shrugged and barely inclined his head. "Umm, quick question, what is Hogwarts?" Annabeth asked, obviously embarrassed that she didn't know something.

Chiron opened his mouth to answer, but before he had the chance, Percy answered for him.

"Hogwarts in the School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, and one of few schools for wizards and witches to be taught. There are some schools in other countries, but Hogwarts is in the UK, which means we must travel to attend. Students remain at the school unless it is a holiday, for instance Christmas."

The rest of the room occupants stared at Percy, jaws on the floor.

"Shut your mouths. You'll catch flies." He rolled his eyes as the sound of teeth clattering against each other echoed around the room.

"How do you know this, Percy, my boy?" Chiron questioned, the mentioned demigod responding with a smirk and a vague response:

"You will find out in time, Chiron."

Annabeth look even angrier, if that was possible, by the fact that Percy knew more about the wizards than she did.

Without waiting for anyone to say another word, Percy turned on his heel, and walked out the door, before breaking into a sprint to Cabin Three. As he entered, a tapping came from the window. The son of Poseidon turned, spotting an owl perched on the windowsill with a coiled piece of parchment tied to its leg.

"Lexis!" Percy breathed out, throwing the window open and letting the owl in. "Thank Zeus you weren't spotted," he whispered, detaching and unrolling the piece of parchment. "You must be exhausted though," he continued, stroking Lexis' feathers.

"Here," he took a box out of his trunk, and opened it, revealing a selection of pellets. "Eat up Lex," the son of Poseidon tossed the box onto his desk, and allowing Lexis to hop off his arm and gulp down the food.

While the owl was eating, Percy read the letter that was attached to it's leg, which was thankfully written in Ancient Greek.

Dear Perseus Jackson,

Hey Perce, how are things at Camp? I've really been missing you. Please visit soon, I can't stand only having Crabbe and Goyle to hang out with. Please come and save me, I'm begging you!

Also, I know I would usually IM you, but I can't risk someone finding out, especially since I'm at home for Easter break. I really need to see you soon though...

Love ya!

Draco

Percy smiled at that, before pulling out his own roll of parchment and slowly scribbling down a response, also in Greek.

Dear Draco Malfoy,

Hiya Drakes! Things are fine at camp, aside from Annabeth asking me out a few weeks ago.

He paused at that, the memory coming back to him.

~Flashback~

Percy walked slowly to the dining pavilion, still exhausted from the recent war. "Hey Percy, can we have a word?"

He turned, spotting Annabeth by the edge of the woods. Grinning, the son of Poseidon jogged over, before walking beside her.

When they were deeper in the woods, Annabeth halted, and Percy followed suit.

"Here goes nothing," Annabeth whispered just loud enough for Percy to hear. "Percy, I really like you, as in like like you. I was wondering if you maybe felt the same way, and wanted to go on a date some time..."

Percy just stood awkwardly, before responding, "Sorry 'Beth, but I don't feel the same way. I'm in a committed long-distance relationship right now, and I love my partner. I could never break up with them."

"Oh." Annabeth murmured, tears welling in her eyes. "Okay then, see you around." With that, she sprinted off into the foliage, and was quickly swallowed by the darkness.

~End of Flashback~

Percy shook his head to snap himself out of his thoughts, before picking back up Riptide (in it's uncapped pen form) and continuing to write the letter.

How are things at Hogwarts? I know you're stuck with Crabbe and Goyle, but what about other stuff, like lessons and Quidditch? Speaking of Quidditch, I really miss it, almost as much as I miss you (Cheesy I know).

Oh! Before I forget, I just got assigned another quest with Annabeth, Nico and Will (Side note, I seriously ship those two; they're so cute together!)

That's basically all, love you too!

Percy

Smiling, Percy capped Riptide and called over Lexis, tying the coiled up parchment to the owl's leg and whispering in it's ear, "Deliver this to Draco Malfoy, at Hogwarts."

With that, the bird flew off into the night.

So, whaddya think of the first chapter? If you haven't guessed by the letters in this chapter and the cover, the mystery ship is Percy and Draco. Just a little background info, Percy went to Hogwarts in his first year, but when he went to camp and his quests, he never went back. When he was at Hogwarts, he and Draco became close and eventually started dating, despite only talking through owls and Iris Messages (IMs).

That's basically all from me for now, bye my pups!
