THE ride back home was fun,we would bike up bike downhill and on the mountain roads, on dirt roads like we literally went everywhere the wheel would trun and trun, and over the years the shoulder of the front seat like the handel right,they slowly become super loose so everytime we're going downhill it's raltting,it felt so shaky
But somehow when my dad was on the bike, it's just felt steady,like even though it was rattling and my teeth were clattering it felt steady in a sense,
And i need that after my college entrance exam. Dad was gone, he wasn't there waiting for me, i push through the crowd and I'm like dad, dad where are you??" He was nowhere to be found.
I am like okay it's fine though,i mean I'm sure he must have gone home first, it's okay, I'll just go and jokingly yell at him for not there to pick me up on his bick, but atleast the exam went well.
Well,when i come home i rushed through the front door and shouted "dad" he was not there, my dad had disappeared
Then my call me, i go to her, she set me down and tell me " i don't know what to say but, last night your dad was acting strange, he's acting extremely irritable and aggressive,we fought a bit,i---i think maybe he was very angry and he run away,i think we should maybe give him a few days to cool off ,he will probably comeback right, after he's clam down"
I mean the reasoning is strange but what does a seventeen years old know about marriage,so both mom and i know that we should not talk about it because this is a pretty small town,i mean it's going to be really shameful.
If anyone no that my dad has walk out on us guys for a fight, like it's just not a nice right or to be gone without explanation for days at a time.
So they just keep quiet if anyone asked about the dad/husband they tell everyone that "he's on a business trip" but a few days later there's still no sign of the dad
Adeel doesn't get it but slowly - slowly his confusion trun into anger because he's like why would my dad abandoned us like i don't get it,i don't even understand.
