I woke up without Nicklaus on my side. Magpapanic na sana ako pero nakita ko siyang nakaupo sa veranda.
Sapo sapo ko ang ulo at ang kumot sa dibdib ko. He's drinking coffee while sitting in front of his laptop and speaking to someone on the phone. Sinilip ko kung ano oras na at nakita kong alas syete palang pala.
"I'll ask her. She's a bit forgetful..." I heard him say. "No, don't ask her too much. I don't want her to suffer any more. Ako na lang ang kikilos."
I sat on the bed while listening to him.
"Yes, I'll get to that later, Juan. Thank you."
He turned off his phone and stood up.
Bumalik ako sa pagkakahiga. I closed my eyes and hugged myself. I felt him walk towards me. I smelled his natural body scent and a bit of coffee from him. He laid on my side.
I peeked. He was staring at me. May ukit ng ngiti sa kaniyang labi. Magulo pa ang buhok niya.
I felt his hand on my thigh. He touched me softly. I groaned a bit. He was staring at me while he was touching me.
"Sakit?" he rubbed me lightly.
Tumango ako. "You broke my panty."
He chuckled in a low bedroom voice. "Bibilhan kita ng isang libo n'yan."
I covered my face and laughed.
He pulled me for a hug. "I need to ask you about the case later. Is it okay?"
Ngumuso ako. "Yeah..."
"Are you sure..."
"Yes. If it helps."
He kissed my head. "Yes, baby. I love you."
"Hmm?" lumitaw ang mukha ko.
"I said I love you."
"Pardon?"
He chuckled. "You love it, don't you..."
"You never said it before."
"You don't say it back..."
Tinikom ko ang bibig ko. "Basta!"
"Say it, hmm..."
"Ayaw ko."
"Ayaw mo?"
"Ayaw ko!"
"Fine," he whispered. "Ayos na sa akin iyong sigaw mo kagabi."
"Ewan ko sayo!"
Humalakhak siya.
It's lighter with Klaus. Everything seems to be so light whenever I'm with him.
He indeed started questioning me after our hotel room breakfast. Bawat tanong niya ay halik niya sa akin na para bang iyon ang pipigil sa pag-iisip ko. He would ask every time if it's okay, if he needs to stop, if I need to pause. But I actually feel fine.
"We'll schedule a hearing. Is it okay if you say your testimonies?"
Ngumuso ako at nag-isip. "Will he be there?"
He touched my hand. "I will be there."
"Okay, then..."
Namungay ang mga mata niya. "We don't have to do that if you want. I can be without my defendant."
"No, I'll be there, Klaus. It's fine."
"Alright, then..."
To be honest, I don't quite feel nervous about it. Kung meron man akong inaalala ay si Klaus iyon. I think he's working too much for me. He's always up on his laptop.
