Team 13 had a very long journey ahead of them, they would have to cross all the land of fire and make it into the land of rivers and the hidden valley village. The journey would only take about a days worth of travel by running or so the team hoped. "If only you didn't make that stupid bet" Rin said angered, they now had to rush this mission because of Y/n. "Look, I felt threatened under that geezer's gaze, I did what had to be done" Y/n says in response
"What had to be done huh"? Rin questions her younger teammate, she continued on ahead at full speed, Y/n looked at his teammates trying to ask what he said wrong, Hanabi said "She's pretty pissed, you should go apologize instead of trying to sound innocent" . Y/n being who himself, was at a loss for words, 'How dare she say I was "sounding innocent" ' , he thought while rolling his eyes at his female friend
Mai simply stayed quiet while trying to keep balance when tree jumping, it took all of her focus 'How the hell can they do this so casually.' She thought to herself. Y/n rushed ahead to catch up with Rin to apologize for his actions and selfishness. When he did catch up, Rin looked to her side and tried to pick up pace only for the same process to happen all over again. "I know you're pretty pissed off right now, but could we talk" Y/n says while surpassing Rin's speed by a few trees, she looks at him already angry enough over his stupid pride.
"What"? She says annoyed, Y/n not understanding female emotions ask what he did wrong. "What did you do wrong huh"? Rin questions herself, she then began to list of things "First you make a bet with the hokage, second you agree to a mission I rejected, and third that damn pride of yours is going to get my entire team killed"! She yells out, Mai and Hanabi look stare dead at Y/n with wonder in their eyes both thinking 'How will you respond to this, hot shot' or something along those lines.
"I don't understand, is the problem the bet and disobedience or my pride"? Y/n ask the question which made Rin even angrier, she then yells "YES"!!! Y/n was even more confused then the first time. Mai slowly made her way to the two and tried to explain what Rin was getting at. "Because of you're disobedience and stupidly high ego, we're in the worst case scenario" Mai explains in the dumbest way she could, even though he was smart. He was always clueless. Y/n understanding more of what was going on, said sorry for his actions "I can't promise it won't happen again, but I'll try not to disobey you're orders" He says while looking at his sister.
"Just make sure it doesn't happen again, especially not when it comes to missions" She says in a sighed tone, "I'm also sorry, for being a total jerk about the whole situation, I just didn't want to lose anymore people than I already have" She says, Y/n never really asked Rin about her ninja life, all he knew was 'Kakashi'. Rin never spoke about her personal life either, if she even had one that is. Suddenly Rin stopped, causing the rest to stop as well.
Rin then pointed down towards a whole bunch of people. Y/n whispered to his team "Rouge ninja's working transport"? He questioned what was happening below him, Mai continued to hold into the side of the tree while whispering "It looks like they are moving something important into the land of Hidden Valley Village" Rin motioned for Hanabi to use her byakugan on the carriages, to which she did fluently, Y/n stared at Hanabi's eyes for a few seconds.
'How mesmerizing' He thought, Mai noticed this and gaged at Y/n. When Hanabi suddenly stopped Y/n stopped looking, taking sneak peeks at her every now and again. "It would seem they are transporting something with a high amount of chakra" Hanabi says, Rin took this in and motioned for Y/n to head onward towards the mission, they would handle things here. "Be safe, all of you" He says before disappearing deeper into the branches.
