"-And that's what happened." [Name] finished retelling the story to Chigiri with a sigh. He was currently lying on his back with his head on Chigiri's lap, the latter applying a face mask on his face as he played on his phone.

"HA! That's so dumb." Chigiri laughed out loud as he peered down on [Name]'s face as he carefully applied the masking cream on the other's face, trying to not get some on his hair. "But seeing as how what happened, it was a long overdue build-up."

"I know," [Name] groaned. He's starting to regret not meddling a bit more now considering how much of a disarray this fight will cause to the team.

"Just leave them be, they'll make amends soon enough." Chigiri cooed as he finally pulled away and leaned back with a satisfied smile. [Name] immediately closed his eyes as he was once again exposed to the bright light after Chigiri, who served as his cover, moved away.

"Maybe..." [Name] sighed as he relaxed his body. "Or they'll resent each other forever and never get along ever again."

"Oh please, they're not you and Reo." Chigiri remarked with an unamused expression.

"Ouch." [Name] responded with a monotone voice.

"What? it's true." Chigiri rolled his eyes as he began playing with the end hairs of [Name]'s growing bangs. "Your hair's getting quite long. You gonna cut it soon?"

"Nah, too lazy to go out." [Name] shrugged as he began to pet Choki Jr. who had climbed up onto his chest. The weight of his paws hurt a bit but it was fine, he'll endure it because he loves his gremlin child.

"Aww~" Chigiri cooed once more at the appearance of the cat and instantly reached a hand out to pet him. The cat, in response, merely licked the tip of his fingers causing him to melt. "I'm seriously going to steal Choki one of these days."

"Don't, he's mine." [Name] frowned as he hugged Choki protectively against his chest.

"How protective," Chigiri rolled his eyes playfully as he looked away from the duo beneath him in favor of observing the room instead. "You've had him for a while now, haven't you?"

"Yeah," [Name] nodded as he lifted Choki into the air, causing the cat to mewl adorably. "It's been, I don't know, almost a year?" His expression was thoughtful as he suddenly remembered the first day he got Choki the cat with...

"So..." Chigiri hesitated a bit as he debated on whether he should go through with what he wanted to say. Although he was fine bringing Reo up jokingly from time to time, he was still aware of how the man's become a sore topic for [Name]....and vice versa.

In the end, he decided to go ahead and bring it up.

"Any plans of getting Choki his dad back?" Chigiri tried with an awkward smile. [Name] simply rolled to his side in response while still playing with the cat.

"No, I'm a single mom now." [Name] spoke in his damned emotionless voice, disallowing Chigiri to determine whether he was offended or going along with the joke. "Choki doesn't need him, right Choki?" He murmured to his cat.

"[Name]..." Chigiri sighed as he lay on his back. "In all seriousness, don't you think it's time to talk it out again?"

"I tried to. He wouldn't answer me and said he didn't know who I was anymore." [Name] responded quietly, not looking up from where he was playing with Choki.

Chigiri's eyes couldn't help but twitch at that. He still remembered when [Name] told him that he met Reo again and how their conversation went. He was damn close to storming Shiratorizawa and killing Reo himself.

If only the said man didn't call him that same night, crying about his regrets about his words. Apparently, he was trying to act tough but ended up digging their already fractured relationship deeper into the grave.
