-Natsu’s pov-

As I stared up at the newly light fireworks I felt something brush pass me as I looked I saw nothing

(Must be my imagination)

I thought and turned my head back to the show, it was amazing no wonder this was gins favorite part even when we were little she has always love them the show takes me back to the night of the masquerade ball 2 years ago

-Masquerade ball-

Today is fairy tail’s first masquerade pop’s felt like having a party and Cana said we should have a masquerade ball for the sake of it and everyone agree beside gin she said we should have a demon themed party but we have those on Halloween  so we all went with cana’s idea. A week and a half past and everything was ready the dress code for the party was formal it was then when I started to regret agreeing with canna’s idea but too late now, all the boy’s in the town had to wear a tuxedo and mask whilst the girls had to wear a dress and mask, no one in fairy tail had seen gin all week so we all thought she might run out once the date was here.

The night of the ball was here and still no sing of gin she knew where it was being held under the big oak tree where we normally held our town party’s everyone was sure she wasn’t going to show up but seeming we were having a firework’s show at the end so I just know she would show up.

About 1 hour before the fireworks began a girl in this big white ball gown with a black and white feathered masked showed up her hair was tied up in a large bun with a braid going around the base of it and her fringe just barely covered her left eye, she look magnificent just her standing at the top of the stair made all the males there break their necks. She just stood no one knew who she was everyone at least thought she was some kind of royal in town for then week or something, after everyone “ooo and aaah” ing her she started to walk down the steps as she meet the end all the men flew to her side but she just glided past them and came over to where almost all of fairy tale was

“Hiya guys” the girl waved

Everyone just stared at her for a little trying to figure out just who she was

“After all the time we’ve spent together you’ve already forgotten my face im hurt” she cried sarcastically

“Gin” Alzack said astonished

She then remover her mask and everyone oh and I mean every one’s jaw dropped

“You look amazing gin” pop’s piped up

“Who knew a girl like you could clean up so well” jet said

“Well looks like a girl like me can clean up somewhat” she said a bit annoyed whilst put back on her mask

“The dog collar sort of throws it off for me” levy added

All the girls agreed gin just shrugged

“Seeming im here I might as well dance” she smiled

“May I have this dance princess” loke asked

“No” she refused

“Huh but why” loke said shocked

“Im NOT a princess” gin said sternly

We all laughed, after that gin went from man to man dance to dance thought the night the fireworks where delayed by two hours cause they were all occupied by gin but not many could complain cause over all it was an amazing night.

 I have to say the firework that where displayed that night could never be match, but im sure gin is enjoying them as much as we are,

I turn to look at gin but she wasn’t there any more I look around to see if she might of moved to get a better look but no

“Guys where’s gin” I said a bit panicked

“Natsu what are you talking about she right ther …” gray said then stoped

“She not there anymore” he said shocked

“Did anyone see her leave” erza ask

I think back then face palm

“Why’d you do that” happy curiously ask

“After the first few fireworks I felt something brush pass me I thought it might have been the wind or something but it must have been gin leaving” I explain

“Happy could you try and find her” Lucy begs

“What do you think I am a dog?” he said crossing his arms

We a look down depressed

“But yes I can” he adds and fly’s up

“I found her she at the closes ally way near the festival” happy points out

We all run towards the ally way as fast as we could, as we get there we see a boy around our age maybe a year older walk out of the ally way carrying and unconscious gin bridal style

“Gin” Lucy yelps

“What did you do to her, tell us now” erza demanded

I and gray get ready to attack when he speaks

“Go back to your guild, she shall follow, but only once she is ready”

Then jumps up into the darkness and completely disappears, we tried to follow but he had completely disappear and i couldn’t even follow their sent

“What do we do now” gray ask

“We have to follow them” I replied

“How can we when we don’t even know where they went moron” her added

 “What did you say ice pole” I said annoyed

“You heard me flame brain” he said as he hit his head against mine

“Knock it off you two” erza said as she came between us

“Maybe we should do as he said” happy suggested

“Yeah he didn’t look like he was going to hurt her” Lucy agreed

“Then how did she end up unconscious” I yelled annoyed

Lucy whimpered, erza hit me over the head, gray smirked and I gave him the dirty eye

“It true that we don’t know what happened but we can do anything now besides go back to fairy tail and tell master what has occurred” erza said

We all had no chose but to go back to the inn and leave tomorrow morning. Don’t know how we’re going to sleep tonight without gins snoring, and how is master going to react
