Seldom were times you'd admit of drinking this much. To an extent, Geto kind of loved it, say, the way you'd sang and clung to him hereupon the numerous cocktails Shoko had plied you with, and can't help grinning to himself as he watches you on the dance floor.
You're dancing with Shoko, a bit dopey and giggly, your wide smile is almost blinding. He begins to think coming to this party wasn't in all so bad. You both rarely ever did, after all, usually tending to calm, relaxing nights at either of your homes.
You'd kept things under wraps for long, and if nothing else, your relationship was a surprise. Satoru himself had yet to take a clue about it all along, and tonight, much to Geto's surprise, he was the first to throw his arm over his shoulder and call cheers to you both.
More alcohol kicks in, you become chattier throughout the night. You just about stuck around the dance floor most of the time, despite keeping your wit to occasionally glance back to check on him, or bring him a glass of water and stop before him to show the dance moves Shoko had teached you.
Your face is flushed from the alcohol, and he listens to your ramblings with furtively loving eyes and a palm softly placed on your lower back. You took off your high heels at some point and your hair's been let loose, Geto smiles. He finds you rather too pretty for his poor abilities with words and settles for merely sighing and fixing your hair.
When Satoru came to whisk you away to the karaoke, you'd looked back at him first, somewhat searching for a silent permission behind his eyes that were a bit too serious. He smiled sweetly at you to wave you off. Perhaps Geto took a particular liking in watching you from afar. Obviously, none could know that, especially not you.
Maybe it's a bit odd- in a way, inappropriate and creepy- for him to lurk in the corners and study you with a hungry gaze. It reminded him of how things were before, before you worked up the courage to approach him. He'd watched you a lot, too much, sometimes rather accidentally, as though his eyes found some form of warm comfort in your countenance, to a point he began actively policing himself as to stop doing that. He'd watched you enough that he'd grown accustomed to and, in a word, memorized smallest of your gestures before you even got together.
You return to your seat next to him and offer him your glass of wine.
"You look really pretty with your hair down." you say. He hides a timid smile and takes your hand and the glass.
"You don't look so bad yourself," he takes a sip and runs his fingertips along your arm. A smile cuts through your pursed lips.
You're panting, dewy, yet to recover from the intense karaoke competition. Geto puts the effort to keep a straight face. He's disbelieving of how you stir something in him with only your effortless charm and the sly, sneaky smile he knows a little too well. It kept him thinking how he'd take you here and now, and he takes a long sip of wine at that.
"You... do you wanna get out of here?" you slide an arm over his shoulders and lean into him, attempting to wink wittily.
Geto sets the wine down and winds an arm around your waist, "I was hoping you'd say that."
You both stand up, "Shall I lead us to my place?" he asks you.
You grin, "I was hoping you'd say that."
