Neptune - a distant and cold planet.

She wanted to believe that this call could mean a new beginning, but there were so many unanswered questions.

Anda felt a lump in her throat, and confusion mixing with anxiety in her chest.

"What do you want, Atom?" Anda spoke out loud, struggling to keep her voice steady.

Atom hesitated for a moment before responding, Anda's words sounded harsh and emotionless.

"I just wanted to... talk," she said, her voice cracking slightly.

Anda was silent for a moment, trying to process the unexpected call.

"Why only now? After so long?!"

Anda asked, her voice louder and more aggressive.

There was another moment of silence before Atom responded, her voice sounding a little softer this time.

"Anda, please..." she said, her voice breaking.

Anda swallowed hard, fighting back the tears that threatened to fall. She didn't know what to say, her emotions grew into a tumultuous mess inside her.

"I don't know if I can do this right now, Atom," Anda said finally, her voice shaking slightly. "I... I need some time to think."

Atom sighed on the other end of the line, her voice sounding defeated.

"Okay," she said. "I respect your decision."

And with that, the call came to an end.

Anda threw her phone on the bed with a heavy sigh and slid to the floor, feeling dazed. Her heart was racing, and her mind was a whirlwind of conflicting thoughts.

She wondered why Atom had decided to call now, after so long, and what it meant for them. It was an unexpected move that left Anda completely unguarded and not knowing what to do it and how to process everything.

Anda stood up slowly, her feet dragging across the floor as she wandered around the room.

Even though Anda was hurt by Atom, her thoughts continued to turn to her, like an involuntary reflection of a deep emotional connection.

Anda headed out to the hotel balcony, needing fresh air and space to think. She looked up at the cloudy sky, lost in her own mind.

She sighed heavily, feeling torn between the anger and sadness that Atom's call had triggered her.

For a moment, she considered simply ignoring the call and walking away and ending their connection for good.

But then, something in her mind just clicked. She knew she might regret this decision later.

"Fuck it. Let's get over this." She muttered to herself, feeling a wave of determination rise within her.

She knew that she needed answers, and she wasn't about to let Atom get away so easily this time. She was determined to confront Atom once and for all.

With a quick gesture, she picked up the phone from the bed and called Atom back.

Her heart was beating fast in her chest as she waited for the call to be answered. Finally, Atom's voice came from the other end of the line.

"Hey Anda..." Atom said, her voice sounding uncertain.

Anda didn't greet her back, she didn't want to waste any time.
