Chapter 5

I was planning to make V sit on passenger seat beside Jimin but became shocked to see it already occupied by someone or something.

V's POV:
We reached outside the gate where jimin was waiting for us with his black Rolls-Royce Phantom. He was standing most probably leaning on the car with his hands crossed in front his chest his left leg resting on the sill of the car and head leaned on the window with his eyes closed.

He looked ethereal as if an angel disguised as a human had ascended to earth to protect it. Though he was clad in all black outfit, he looked too innocent to me and a feeling to protect him from this cruel world dawned upon me.

I didn't realise I was staring at him until he opened his crescent shaped eyes and looked straightly into my eyes. I was lost in his black deep ocean like eyes which felt as if carrying a whole universe in them and I would like to drown in them to explore everything they carried.

'But why do these eyes remind me of something or someone. As if I had seen them before somewhere.'

My string of thoughts broke when I felt someone nudging me from beside me and there stood Avni with her eyes digging holes into me as if saying "Caught you".

Does he loves black colour. Ahh! black is a colour which holds so much secrets.
Is he what he shows or is he trying to fool us. We need to be careful of him. Maybe he is good but still I can't just trust him on our first meet.

The sudden nudge again flinched me and pulled me out of my thoughts.

Avni: Don't you want to go? Where were you lost?(she asked worriedly)
"And done staring?" (She whispered the last line with a smirk making my cheeks turn crimson.)

V: Aishh you will not stop right. Let's go.

Avni: Obviously I will not stop. (I gave a small smile.)

Avni's pov:
I was really lucky to get these two wierdoos as my bestfriend. It doesn't matter how much we fight,tease or get angry with each other . We always help each other in critical situation. And right now we both will do everything we can to find Smrati.

I went to sit on the backseat followed by V as the passenger seat was already occupied by something....

Bouquet.

Wait is that lavender with daisies and baby's breath. The flowers were clustered together wrapped in a transparent sheet and tied loosely with a red ribbon giving it the look of a butterfly bow.

Why did he have this bouquet is that for V? Does he have a girlfriend now? But that bouquet looks a little withered. Aishh why am I thinking too much.

We both settled down at the back while Jimin took the driver's seat. We buckled our seat belts and were ready for our journey. Our bags were already kept at the boot with the help of Jimin.

Jimin started driving and soon I noticed V drifted off to sleep. She always sleeps while travelling god knows what happens to her. It is as if travelling is a sleeping pill to her.

Its had been almost 2 hours, Jimin was driving. I noticed tiredness in Jimin's eyes and asked right away.

Avni: Are you tired? You look as if you haven't slept.

Jimin: Oh no no I am totally fine. I just woke up early today. That's all.

Avni: Jimin, I can drive the car , you should get some sleep, you look tired, you will get sick.

Jimin: No no , it's okay .

V: Yeah, you look tired she is right you should sleep, after Avni I can also drive .
(V said suddenly waking up but still sleepy.)

Avni: Whatt? Nooooooo . I will only drive . I don't want to go to hospital.

(Jimin started laughing)

V: But now I've improved. And why are you laughing? (she said glaring at Jimin.)

Jimin put on his poker face and stopped the car.
