Evelyn's POV  April 4 5:00am

I woak up to my alarm going off a haven't heard anything from down stairs so dads probably passed out drunk I get up and begin to get ready I still have to take Justin to school and go to that job interview I got I head to Justin's room and wake him up he lets out a grown gets up "what time is it?" He asked sitting up and hugging me Justin & me have always been close to him and our little sister lily are basically my children "it's 5:00 come on get ready while I wake lily" I say patting his head and leaving fo tor Lily's room

Lily was fast asleep she looked so cute the five year old really did look like their mother "come on hun wake up" I say to her in a motherly voice that's just a habit by now she slowly sturd awake she looked at me and hugged me I picked her up and helped her get ready for school "morning mama" she mumbled it always hurt my heart when she called me that as she never knew our mom but I would never tell that to a 5 year old girl she let me dress her in a cut outfit and we went on our day we all got out stuff and snuck passed our father who was passed out drunk on the sofa

We got in my car and I drove them to school after I was done with drop off I headed over to my interview at 'hellway designers' my friend got me an interview with the CEO Kingston hellway I hope it goes well so I can pay this down payment on this three bedroom apartment I want for me, Jason and lily and hopefully we can finally move out of that hell hole our dad calls home I arrive at the building and it was huge I don't really think id fit in at such a big fancy place but I walked inside

I'm told by a semi rude receptionist to sit and wait for my interview witch is in 15 minutes right be for my name is called I see a girl run out of the room crying....oh no the I heard "Evelyn Martinez?" Be called by a pretty looking older gentleman "uhh me" I say quietly as I stand up and walk over

Kingston's POV April 4th 8:07 am

I'm interviewing for my personal assistant since my other one was in cahoots with my ex wife I just got done with a dumb blonde who kept flirting with me turned her down pretty rudely I admit on my part I but she already ran out crying I walk into the waiting room for the next interview someone named Evelyn Martinez. . . Sounds familiar I look up as I hear a female voice that was soft and shaky go "uhh me". . . She's beautiful. . . She walks over and we go into my office I pulled up her file and she is 17 an straight A student it says she had legal custody of her two siblings given to her by CPS

She looks legit "so what do you hope to accomplish with this job" I start off sounding harsher then I wanted to "um well to save enough money to help my family move out of our current situation" she says her voice sounded soft and quiet she sounded like an angel- Kingston pay attention she's 17 it will never happen "ok well how did you find this company" I ask my eyes focused on her pink lips "my friend recommended me she said it was very flexible to college students" she said I was stunned for a moment she's a college student!?

"Yes we are very flexible to college students last question do you have any experience in this line of work" I ask on her resume it say no I'm checking to see if she'll lie "no sir this is my first job" she answered she's perfect she politely she's truthful and she hasn't tried to flirt with me once she also looks amazing she's perfect for the job
"We will contact you tomorrow regarding wether you got the passion or not" I say she stands up and thanks me fixing her skirt and walking out. . . .{ I love her~}

Evelyn's POV April 4th 9:30

I get up and fix my skirt walking out I can feel the guy stairing at me as I walk out I get in my car and drive to school my first class starts at 10:00 get out of my car grabing my backpack I walk into school and see the normal groups of people I walk over to my locker and see Princeton walking up to me oh dear Lord " hey beautiful" he says I hate the cheesy nicknames he calls me "go away Princeton" I say leaving for my first class "oh come on princess talk to me" he says trying to follow me

"Princeton get a life" I say walking faster to get away from him he just kept following me "come on princess you know I can treat you right " he tried to say "yeah with your daddies money I'll pass" I say walking into my class and away from him
The class was boring as hell but it was a crucial class if I wasn't to become a home decorator I really hope I get this job....soon me, Justin and lily will be free...I wandered if mom would be proud...

2:11pm

I picked Justin and lily up from school and pray Dad isn't at home we pull up to the house and see his car in the driveway. . . .fuck
We walk inside and see him in the kitchen downing a bottle of bourbon....that's most likely the 8th bottle today "Where the hell were you three!!" He yells his words slurd from all the alcohol "it's Thursday we were at school" Justin says I instinctly move in front of him "WHO THE HALL TOLD YOU TO TALK YOU BITCH" he yells at Justin "we were at school dad it's Thursday..." I say to him " well then why did that little runt go!" He said pointing at lily "she's five dad she's in kindergarten" I awnser him "since when was she five!?" He said as if it was the most outrageous thing ever "her birthday was yesterday dad...." I said trying to avoid a conflict "BULLSHIT I would recommend my own kids birthday!!" He yelled back at me " you didn't remember mine!!!!! So your bullshit!" Justin yelled back at him

"How dare you talk to me like that you little bastard!!!" He got up and tried to grab Justin stepped in front of him " get out of my way slut!!" He yelled at Me I stayed in front of Justin and he gabbed me and threw my to the ground at least it wasn't Justin

After he finally stopped hitting me I got up and went upstairs where lily and Justin were hiding in my room I opened the door and walked in I knocked on the door twice and they came out of my bathroom lily was sniffing and Justin was holding back tears I kneel down and they both hug me I only had a few bruises on my face and my nose was bleeding but I'll be fine they slept in my room that night and we kept the door locked i really hope i get that job
