Chapter 3
As Evelyn continued to work for Mr. Kingston, she found herself becoming more and more drawn to him. His intelligence and charisma were undeniable, and she found herself finding excuses to spend more time with him.
One day, after a particularly long and intense meeting, Evelyn asked if she could speak with Mr. Kingston in private. He agreed, and the two of them stepped into his office.
Evelyn's heart was racing as she closed the door behind her. She knew that this was a pivotal moment in their relationship, and she didn't want to mess it up.
"Mr. Kingston, I just wanted to say thank you, for this opportunity and everything you've done for me," she began. "I know that I'm still learning, and that there are things I need to improve on. But I just wanted you to know that I appreciate everything you've done, and I'm grateful for the chance to work with you."
Mr. Kingston was taken aback by Evelyn's words. He had never had an employee speak to him like that before, and he found himself touched by her sincerity.
"Evelyn, I appreciate that," he said, his voice soft. "I know that you're still learning, but I can see the potential in you. And I want you to know that I believe in you. You're a smart, capable young woman, and I have no doubt that you'll go far in this industry."
Evelyn felt a warm rush of emotion at his words. She had never had someone believe in her like that before, and it meant a lot to her.
From that day on, the two of them grew closer. Evelyn found herself seeking out Mr. Kingston's company more and more, and she enjoyed the way he challenged her to see things from new perspectives. And for his part, Mr. Kingston found himself drawn to Evelyn's intelligence and energy. He enjoyed the way she made him think, and the way she challenged him to be better.
As they grew closer, they found that they had more in common than they initially thought. They shared a love of literature and philosophy, and they found themselves lost in conversation for hours on end.
Eventually, their relationship grew into something beyond just a professional one. They found themselves drawn to each other in a way that they never anticipated, and before they knew it, they
As Kingston's obsession with Evelyn grew, he began to become more secretive about his behavior. He didn't go to her apartment, or let her know he was watching her. Instead, he had his body guards secretly follow her, or follow her home on late night to make sure she's ok. He also started to stalk her social media accounts and monitor her phone and text messages.
Evelyn had no idea that he was doing these things, and she continued to go about her normal routine, unaware of the danger she was in. She had no idea just how far he was willing to go to possess her.
One afternoon, as she was leaving work, Evelyn felt a tap on her shoulder. She turned around to find Kingston standing behind her, his smile dark and sinister.
" Hey Evelyn I was wondering if you wanted to stop by a diner with me sometime I know you talk about your siblings a lot so maybe they could come to?"
Sure, I'd love to! I've heard that there's a really great diner in Brooklyn that I've been wanting to try. Let me check with my siblings and see what they think."
As Evelyn left work, she had no idea that she had just unknowingly set in motion a series of events that would change her life forever. She had no idea that Kingston's obsession with her was about to evolve into full-blown stalking, and she had no idea just how far he was willing to go to make her his own. For now, all she knew was that she was excited to try a new diner with her boss and her siblings
As the months went by, Evelyn found herself spending more and more time with Kingston. She found herself drawn to his intelligence, his charisma, and his unique sense of humor. She enjoyed hearing him talk about his life and his experiences, and she found herself opening up to him in a way that she had never opened up to anyone before. Before she knew it, she found herself falling for him.
At first, Evelyn tried to fight it. She knew that her feelings for Kingston were inappropriate, given their relationship. But as they continued to spend time together, her feelings became harder and harder to ignore. She found herself thinking about him constantly, and she found herself wanting to be around him as much as possible.
As she fell deeper and deeper in love with Kingston, she also found that her siblings began to view him as a father figure. They enjoyed spending time with him, and they found themselves opening up to him in a way that they had never opened up to anyone before. For them, Kingston was a source of comfort and stability, and they found themselves relying on him in a way that they had never relied on anyone before.
But as Evelyn and her siblings grew closer to Kingston, they had no idea that his obsession with Evelyn was reaching dangerous new levels. They had no idea that his behavior was becoming increasingly erratic, and that his love for Evelyn was beginning to take on a dark and twisted edge.
Until one night Evelyn went to Kingston's son prince's parties at his penthouse she was a bit overwhelmed and annoyed but was there because of her friends
As the night wore on, Evelyn found herself feeling more and more overwhelmed. The party was loud, and she felt like she couldn't breathe. She excused herself and made her way to the terrace to get some fresh air.
As she stood there, she heard the sound of a car pulling up to the building. She turned and saw Kingston stepping out of the car, a serious expression on his face. For a moment, she was surprised to see him, but then she remembered that he had a penthouse in the building.
"I couldn't allow that party to continue," he said, his voice low and calm. "I'm sorry for ruining the fun, but I don't want my son and his friends getting into trouble."
Evelyn felt a surge of gratitude. She couldn't imagine what would have happened if he hadn't shut down the party, and she was relieved that he had intervened.
"Thank you, Mr. Kingston," she said, smiling at him. "I appreciate it."
"Please, call me Kingston," he said, his voice warm and welcoming. "And please, let me give you a ride home. It's late, and I'm worried about your safety."
Evelyn didn't know what to say. She had never been offered a ride home before, and she didn't want to seem ungrateful. She accepted Kingston's offer, and they made their way to his car. As he drove her home, she felt like she was floating on air. She had never experienced anything like this before, and she was both excited and terrified.
Sometime on the ride Kingston put his hand on Evelyn's thigh slowly rubbing circles with his thumb and Evelyn found herself getting increasingly wet
As they continued their ride, Kingston asked about her friends and if she had a boyfriend. Evelyn found herself opening up to him in a way that she had never opened up to anyone before. She told him about her friends and how she had been single for a while. As she talked, Kingston seemed to be hanging on her every word.
Suddenly, Kingston stopped the car and parked by a quiet street. Evelyn looked around, confused. She didn't know where they were or why he had stopped.
"What's going on?" she asked, a slight hint of fear in her voice.
Before she could get another word out Kingston kissed her
