It was your debut for arsenal and you'd just secured the win with a last minute goal against Tottenham.

You'd just moved to the club and so to score the winning goal on your debut was magical. You walked around the stadium applauding the fans and thanking them for coming. There was only one problem. You were never a social butterfly, you found it hard to make friends. It was okay at your old club since you had been there your whole life. But even though everyone at Arsenal was so welcoming, you still struggled to find friends. So as the whole team circled the stadium, you lagged a few paces behind. That was until someone came crashing onto your back. Kyra.

"Now why would our new star girl look so glum" she said as she enjoyed her free piggy back around the stadium.

"I'm not glum!" you protest

"I'm just trying to take in the atmosphere of the stadium" you lie

"now I don't know much, but it tends to be easier to take in the stadium when you're not looking at the ground" She chuckles as she bounces off my back and pokes me in the stomach in an attempt to tickle me.

She grabs my hand and runs us up to the rest of the girls, who are quick to offer their congratulations to me for my debut goal. I thank them all but still can't help being slightly awkward. Trying to make conversation when you're 19 and the rest of these people are all in there late twenties is tough. Just as I'm about to pluck up the courage to talk to Kim, I feel a yank on my arm. Kyra... Again.

"Come here you" She chuckles as she ruffles my hair and pulls me up to walk with her Less and Vic.

"So star girl, why are you so quiet? You too good to talk to us wonder kid" She says trying to poke fun at me.

"No no, I promise i don't think that" I blurt back worried that people might actually think that's what I think. But soon the three of them are in fits of laughter

"Don't mind kyra, she's trying to wind you up. She's a pest" Less giggles as she shoves kyra.

"No one actually thinks that. Don't worry so much Lucy" Vic adds on

I laugh with the three girls as we continue to thank the fans for coming to our first game of the season. I try take in every single moment, as this is shaping up to be the best day of my career.

Suddenly i feel a small tap on the shoulder. It's Kim telling me i have to do an interview with Sky Sports on my debut. I oblige knowing that, while it seems impossible, i'm 10 times more awkward on camera than in person.

"So Lucy, what's it like moving from a small academy to one of the biggest clubs in Women's sport at the moment" The reporter asks

Keep it cool Lucy.

"Well yeah I mean like yeah I came from the academy at Arsenal which is pretty small, wait I mean Bristol, not Arsenal, I grew up playing for Bristol academy. And um now I play for Arsenal"

Great job.

The reporter looks confused at my lack of media training. Well I had media training but obviously it hadn't really done much for me.

"Uh Okay, What's It like to debut and score in front of a sold out Emirates stadium?" He asks, hoping for a more composed and professional answer.

"Well yeah, making my debut here, infront of more people than ive ever played in front of is just incredible, like let alone umm scoring as well. Nah it's just great" I reply starting to loosen up a bit.

The reporter starts to chuckle. Did I say something wrong? I thought my answer was pretty good. Not perfect. But better than my first one. That's when I feel a slight touch on my head.

It's kyra... Again

She's pulling bunny ears on me as well as pulling funny faces over my shoulder as i answer the reporters questions.

Kyra notices she's been caught and scurried away to join Less and Vic again.

"PEST" I yell back at her laughing.

I turn back around to the reporter. Feeling a bit more relaxed and ready to answer his questions

While Kyra may be a pest, she's really helping me loosen up and feel more at home at Arsenal.
