Sitting in a cold corner.
Mumbling a few words,
I find unappealingFeigned a smile on my face.
Unsettled thought running wild,
Fighting with my conscience
To say aliveI wear a mask to hide my fear......
I'm afraid of what will happen,
if the mask breaksMy mind has gotten so accustomed,
to the lies my heart tells,
I have learned to live with this maskThe circle of lies continues,
I wear a mask of deceit to safeguard myselfBut my mind has become
a battlefield of horror
with different deathsWe wear a mask of deciet
