Confession

 Chapter 1- Confession

Jake Bel, a 16-year-old, high school student, finally woke up from his sleep. Today was the day, he was going to confess his feelings to Ze, one of the most popular girls in school and a part of the most popular groups. Jake got his best clothes, put on his best cologne, and groomed his hair to look his best. His mother, Jade Bel, drove him to school, "Remember son, don't do anything stupid, and try your best to succeed. got that?" stated Jade. "I know, I know, bye mom."

Jake walked into the school and hailed his friends, Hana and Evelyn. "Hey Jake," exclaimed Hana. "Oh, I see you got all dressed up, what is the occasion you got all dressed up for?" Jake happily said that he was going to confess his feelings to Ze. "Are you sure about that, Jake?" said Evelyn. "I have to agree with Evelyn here Jake, what if she rejects-" Before Hana could finish her reply, Jake cut her off, stating "No, that will not happen, Ze and I are made for each other."

Before Jake could finish his statement, the bell rang, "It is time for us to head to class." said Evelyn. As they were heading to class, Jake started to talk about what his and Ze's future would be like, even if, it annoyed Hana and Evelyn, at the same time it was sweet, funny, and entertaining when they heard him talk about it. As Jake and his friends were walking to class, someone tripped Jake, almost causing him to fall to the floor. "Well, it is nice to see you again 'Jakey boo-boo bear.'" Jake's face turned red, in embarrassment,  as he got up, he yelled, "Don't you fucking call me that Joshua!! You jerk!!" Hana chuckles and whispers to Evelyn, "If I didn't know Jake or Joshua for a long time, I would suspect those two were having a 'couples quarrel'." After a few minutes of Joshua and Jake arguing, Jake and his friends got to class on time. 

Jake sat in his seat, Ze sat in the chair in front of him. Jake fantasized about their life together, him and Ze living in a mansion, Ze cooking meals for him, calling him 'honey boo-boo bear', them having many children, having a job that makes him more money than Jacy- "JAKE!!" Jake snapped back to reality. "Earth to Jake, are you here?" questioned the teacher, Hollow Moon or Ms. Moon. "Y-yes ma'am," muttered Jake. Jake covered his face in embarrassment, Ze turned to look at Jake, chuckled a little, and turned back to her desk. Jake blushes. 

At the end of school, Jake is ready to confess his feelings for Ze, he was looking for Ze but, he could not find her.  He was going to leave when he heard a notice coming from the empty classroom. Jake was curious, so he took a peak inside the classroom. There he saw it, Ze kissing Sara, "Im so glad you are my girlfriend, Ze," Sara said happily. "Yeah, me too." Jake was speechless... Ze.. and Sara... no... 

Jake went outside, waiting for his mom to pick him up. "Jake... are you okay?" Hana asked. "yeah... I'm fine, Im fine... Im fine...." replied Jake. Hana knew something was wrong, however, before she could say anything, Jake had left. 

At home, Jake looks at the love letter he wrote for Ze. He looked at the letter with lifeless eyes. "Sara.... she will... pay..."Later that night. Sara was walking home, when all of a sudden, she got a phone call from Ze.

Ze: Hey girl, how are you doing?

Sara: Alright, as always. ^^

Ze: you know, I could have dropped you home.

Sara: it is okay, there is no need for you to do that, I get some relaxation from walking home, I get to see the scenery and all that. 

Ze: yeah, yeah, I get, just please, get home safe. 

Sara: don't worry, I promise I will get home safe, well, I will see you at school tomorrow, bye^^

Ze: okay, bye.

Ze: *hangs up*

Little does Ze know, that would be the last phone call she would get from Sara. Before Sara continued her walk, she noticed Jake behind her. "hey Jake," Sara said, smiling with glee. However, Jake was silent, Sara tried to hail Jake again but... Jake just walked close to Sara, Sara was confused but before she could say anything... she felt a sharp pain in her stomach. As she looked down, she saw a knife in her abdomen. "huh..." Before Sara knew it she was getting stabbed rapidly in her abdomen. Screams of agony, and blood... memories start to appear in Sara's head. These were going to be her last moments alive...

With her last breath, Sara said... "Im... sorry Ze... looks like I broke the promise....." and she was on the ground covered in blood, with lifeless eyes.

"W... What have I done.." Jake had realized what he had done... he took a life... an innocent life... a person who has hopes, dreams, goals, and admiration. In a panic, Jake ran home. Luckily his mother wasn't not home. Jake threw the knife in the sink, took off his blood-stained clothes, took a shower, and got the bloody knife and the blood-stained clothes and cleaned them with bleach, liquid detergent, and any cleaning products he could use to get rid of the blood.  When he finished the job he put everything back like the way it was, put on some pajamas, and just turned on the TV to try and calm down, a few hours later... 

TV reporter: Breaking news... the high school student, Sara Chilese was murdered at the national park..

Jake: ......

TV reporter: She was found with multiple stabs would in her abdominal area and with a slit on her throat... police are looking for anyone linked to the crime, however, still found no evidence at the crime scene linked to anyone... If you know anyone linked to the crime, call the police immediately...

Jake: ....
 

TV reporter: This is a horrible tragedy... Mr. and Mrs. Chilese are devastated at the loss of their only child.. may God forgive the person who did this... but we will never forgive you...
