"I don't buy the just friends bs with those two." Sasha nodded in the direction of Mia and Ant.

Ant crooned into her ear, his hands encircling her waist while she tenderly held onto his head, a drink in her free hand, as they moved in sync with the music's rhythm.

"Do you think they're still you know" Missy asked as Harper practically choked on her laugh "Oh a hundred percent" she answered as Sasha joined in.

"Truth always comes out when you're drunk"

The sun's rays shimmered on Mia's skin as she emerged elegantly from the water for a drink. Walking over to the bar, water trickled down her sleek bikini as she pointed to Ant's drink, saying, "Make me one of those."

With a grin, he shook his head, teasing, "You couldn't handle this." After a sip, Mia challenged him, her eyes sparkling, "Wanna bet?"

The evening unfolded with playful drinking games until they eventually found themselves on a cliff, gazing at the dark sea and starlit sky.

Seated on an equally drunk Ant's lap, Mia admitted, her words slightly slurred, "Ant, I was wrong, and you were right." His eyes lit up as he joked, "Want to say that into my phone?" Mia playfully pushed his shoulder, laughing, "No, Anthony," before settling down beside him.

They lay on their backs, staring at the stars in a peaceful silence.

"Anthony," Mia began.

"Amelia," he replied.

"I think I might—"

"Nice of you to join us lover boy" Spider muttered as Ants mouth flung open "What are you talking about" he asked grabbing a bottle only to be ignored as Spiders gaze was now on the sudden appearance on Amerie.

Although she had arrived alongside Darren and Quinni, Spider's eyes stuck to Amerie like a fly in a web which only intensified watching Malakai ask her for a dance.

Catching on Ant ruffled his hair "Someone's jealous" he laughed as Spider hit hand "No." he huffed as Dusty slid away from them.

He made his way over to Mia who was sitting by a tree with a bottle by her side. He slowly sat down next to her with a small smile "Hey"

"Hi" she answered taking a swig before passing him the bottle "Whey go on" she laughed as he chugged before joining in the laughter catching the attention of Ant from a distance.

"Look who's jealous now." Spider chuckled before walking off and leaving Ant wondering what they were talking about.

They looked happy, like the conversation was going well. How could she sit there and look so beautiful at the side of another guy. Then it dawned on him that Mia and him were none other than friends, no more and no less.
