"My brother," Stanislaus whispered as he stood at Lanecea's side, watching as Storm led his army into the throneroom just above the dungeon.
Lani reached over, gently squeezing Stanislaus' fingers before murmuring, "I'm not cruel."
Stanislaus had never doubted Lanecea's heart but he couldn't help but stare as his older brother faced Lieutenant Romiki, another soldier his brother had fought alongside as they attempted to protect their country and vampire allies. Unaware of Stanislaus' presence, his brother faced the Lietunant before touching the point of their sabres together, creating a gleaming archway.
"Alright my Darling, this is it," Lanecea smiled at Revna who winked at her mamma before beginning to walk down the aisle beneath the archway. Lani's heart couldn't help but flutter at the sight of the girl who looked like a young bride with baby's breath from Lani's garden adorning her hair.
Lai waited until Revna was standing at her father's side before gently tugging on Herja's chain, drawing her slave's attention back to the present although it wasn't necessary. After all, as soon as she took a step, Herja would have no choice but to follow, the woman attached to Lanecea's butt plug.
"Would it please you if I crawl?"
"That won't be necessary but thank you. You're parents are attending the ceremony."
"I'm not embarrassed if they should see me crawl at your side - or behind you. It is an honour to belong to you, Lady Cumming."
"Thank you. If you are sure, then yes, seeing you crawl at my side would be a magnificent sight. You will not crawl behind me with Herja as you are not a slave."
Herja wasn't complaining as she crawled with Ignacy behind Lani, Stanislaus on his knees at her side while Lanecea walked slowly so her slaves could easily keep up until Lani stopped before Storm and Revna. The soldiers clicked their heels as they lowered their weapons, then made Lanecea smile as they saluted her while shouting in unison, "Hail Victory!" In fact they made her butterflies twirl so fast, she was suddenly dizzy. Storm winked at Lani as he reached out to hold her hand. He had done very well in training his slave army - so well that Lanecea was completely blown away.
