Ch.20 Not so bad as dad after all

Miwa had organized a meeting with an imprisoned Tigerclaw at the government facility. She walks into see Tigerclaw who's hands were chained to the table.

"Hello cub it's good to see you" Tigerclaw said.

"I got you something" Miwa said as she places an cut off tiger on the tale.

"Its the tail that you cut off when you were a little girl" Tigerclaw said.

"I did that when we're training, Tatsu" Miwa said.

"I haven't heard my real name in years" Tigerclaw said. "I got you something too"

Tigerclaw places a book in front of her.

"What's this?" Miwa asks.

"It's something that Master Shredder wanted me to give you as for his last request when he died" Tigerclaw explains.

Miwa looks at it before opening the book to see a bunch pictures of her younger self and Shredder. She flips through it to see all the happy memories she had with the Shredder.

"I remember this" Miwa said pointing to one of the pictures.

"He said that he wanted you to remember the good times you had with him" Tigerclaw said.

She sees the picture of her young self and Shredder in his normal clothes in the stands of the circus.

"It's the time that Shredder took me to the circus. One time I remember him being happy" Miwa said.

"Master Shredder loved you the most he saw you as his equal" Tigerclaw said.

"After seeing this I gusse he was not so bad as a dad after all" Miwa said.

"I just hope this gets you clouser after his death" Tigerclaw said.

"But Tatsu why gives this to me now?" Miwa asks.

"He told me when the time was right or at least you had heal after his death" Tigerclaw said.

"I don't think I'll ever heal after what I did" Miwa said.

"He had hoped that you would find the way to forgive him after what he killed your mother" Tigerclaw said.

"Miwa looks at one of picture.

"He really loved more than anything" Tigerclaw said.

Miwa smiles before frowning as Kurtsmen enters the room.

"Is everything going okay?" Kurtsmen asks.

"Yes Kurtsmen I been thinking, can you let Tigerclaw go ?" Miwa asks.

"Well he witnessed to Cynthia untroum's trail and her illegal so we can't just let him go let" Kurtsmen said.

Miwa nods her head.

"I'll see you soon Tigerclaw" Miwa said.

"Please call me Tatsu" Tigerclaw said.

Miwa smiles before she exits the room.

Miwa walks down the streets of New York and looks at the pictures in the book. She smiles softly with tears in her eyes.

"Not so bad as dad after all" Miwa mutters as she reflects on her relationship with Shredder.

Shredder never treated her like the henchman or the foot ninjas. He treated her like an equal and he even apologized to her killed her mother when she learned the truth. She regrets killing Shredder but she had to save her real father's life. But looking at theses pictures gave her clouser.

She goes into the swears to see Splinter.

"Father ?" Miwa said.

"Its great to see you again" Splinter said.

He notices the book in Miwa's hands.

"What do you have there ?" Splinter asks.

"It's something that Tigerclaw gave me under Shredder's orders when he died" Miwa explains.

"I see Miwa I know you regret killing the Shredder but in order to heal you have to forgive yourself" Splinter said.

"But how?" Miwa asks.

"You have inner peace already you just have to forgive yourself" Splinter said.

Miwa hugs Splinter.

"I love you father" Miwa said.

"I love you too Miwa" Splinter whispers.

Note- So if you guys read the first book I made then you'll know Shredder cared about Miwa and considered her as his equal. He treated her nicely because he cared about her and she remained him of Tang Shen. Miwa even shared good memories with Shredder.

And the not so bad of a dad is reference to Phineas and ferb.
