Harper's P.O.V

I never wanted to work as a server or waitress of any kind, but when you have a family to take care of, sometimes you just have to make certain sacrifices.
I yawned as I started to wipe down tables at the restaurant that I worked for. My job wasn't ideal at all, but it was something that gave me an income, which is what I desperately needed.
I looked at the clock.
11:59PM
I sighed in relief, I was out at 12, and this was one of the few nights that I didn't have to stay until 1AM to close the store.
"You sure you won't be able to stay until close?" My boss, Miranda asked from behind me. I turned to face her, and could clearly see from her expression that she was desperate for the help. However, I had already worked 11 hours today, and I really didn't want to make it 12.
"I'm sorry, I can't. I'm really tired, and I still have to go home and make sure that my sister had something to eat." I replied, rubbing my eyes with the backs of my hands. Miranda sighed.
"It's okay, I get it, I just thought that I'd ask." She said.
I threw the rag back into the bucket of water and untied my apron.
"I'll see you next week, okay?" I said, giving a small smile.
"Sounds good," Miranda replied, giving a smile back, "just give me a second to collect your tips for tonight, and you'll be good to go."
I nodded, and then walked to the back to get my jacket and keys. Although it was a big relief to be off of work, I knew that I still had a number of things to do when I returned home.
I lived with my mom and eleven year old sister, and it's been like that ever since our dad walked out a number of years ago. However, although she was left alone, my mom was still determined to work hard for us. Despite going through hardships herself, she ensured that we were supported, so now it's my turn to support her like she supported me.
"Harper," Miranda said, breaking me out of my thoughts, "nice work today, you made $83 in tips."
A smile appeared on my face.
"Thanks." I said, stuffing the cash into my slightly ripped jacket pocket.
"Get home safe." Miranda said.
"You too." I replied, as I walked back to the front of the restaurant.
Through the windows, it looked like it was windy.
Okay Harper, brace yourself for the cold air.
I zipped up my jacket and held my arms tightly around myself before I opened the door, and sure enough, once I opened it the cold air hit me like a slap.
I quickly walked towards my small Toyota Camry and got inside. The feeling of finally being able to sit down after a long nights work is pure bliss.
I started my car and shivered a little. My car doesn't have heat, so all it did when I started it was blast me with even more cold air.
Even though I was shivering like a leaf, I needed to get home, I was so tired and I just wanted to sleep.
I looked in my rear view mirror.
All clear.
I yawned as I started to back up, and then—
Thud.
Oh shit, I hit someone's car.

Xander's P.O.V

When you work hard all day, sometimes all you want to do is go home to a nice dinner with the woman you love. However, why do that when you can have a different woman every night that make's you dinner and gives you pleasure?
I drove through the darkness in my all black Rolls-Royce excited for my upcoming nightly plans: dinner and a nice fuck.
Usually, I wouldn't go out for some random ass chick, I have them come to me. But since a home cooked meal was offered, I couldn't resist.
Then, suddenly my phone started to ring, breaking me out of my thoughts.
The only reason I received it was because it was my close friend and business partner, Axel.
"This better be good." I said instantly.
"It is, I promise I wouldn't interrupt your nightly affairs for no reason." He replied.
I chuckled. "You know me so well."
"It's about the partnership that I was telling you about earlier, the one that is going to help us with our expansion plans." He said.
"Is this partnership actually going to benefit us though? What sets it apart from all of the other ones that we were offered before? I asked while continuing to drive.
"The data looks perfect, I don't see any issues but it's your call." Axel replies.
"I think we might need to talk a little more about this with everyone else on board, and maybe get some more opinions." I suggested.
"That's a good idea, about what time are you thinking?" Axel asks.
I paused for a second. "That's a good question, hold on let me pull over and we can decide on a time."
I pulled into the first parking lot I saw and then started to scroll through all of my marked events.
"So the next few days are a little tight, do you think that sometime next week would work?" I asked Axel.
"That should be suitable, they didn't give us a deadline, so I don't think there would be an issue." Axel stated.
"Okay, next week—"
Thud.
I instantly looked up, someone hit my fucking car.
