The next day, the scene remains the same, except Foxy is help training Chicken Little for the games, helping him learn more about it. While Mr. Dog steals the games since he's the best player on the baseball team. Foxy has been trying to help Chicken Little to play, but the coach has been hard on him, and always make him last. Foxy gets a chance at bat, and she makes hits too, and always make it to second. They really want to recover their reputations and make their parents proud of them. Weeks later, they're now at the last game. The Acorns vs. Taters. Right now, the score is 14 to 13. And the Acorns have 13. They just need two more points to win. Foxy is at bat. She breathes in, and out. She looks at the crowd, and sees her parents. They cheer for her, and she smiles at them. She focuses, and the pitcher pitches the ball. Then, she swings, and hits the ball. She runs as the ball flies. The crowd cheers for her as she runs. The ball lands on the ground, and one of the catchers get it. She sees this, and she stops at second. She laughs as she makes it to second.
Tater player: Man, does anyone ever get you out? You're killing us.
She smirks at him. So far, a lot of their players are injured at the bottom of the roster. Abby and Runt are on the sign and score board. Everyone is getting worried now. The coach has no choice but to bring in Chicken Little. Mr. Dog is chuckling, and smirking, knowing that if Chicken Little makes it to first, he'll win the game with one hit of his own. Foxy claps for Chicken Little, and his dad encourges him, saying that he can do it. The scene remains the same. Even with her helping him train, Chicken Little still doesn't hit the ball for two tries. Foxy is getting worried. She doesn't want him to be hated again. Chicken Little is getting scared too, and the pitcher goes for the final strike, and he can hear the coach telling him not to swing. He closes his eyes as the ball gets closer, and he swings, and hits the ball hard in the air. Foxy gasps as he makes a hit. She watches it go over it in the outfield. It lands on the ground, hitting the Taters players. Chicken Little is dazed, seeing that he made his first hit. The crowd is shouting at him to run. He snaps out of it, and runs for it, but the wrong way. Foxy also snaps out of it, and runs for it.
Foxy: Chicken Little, wrong way! Go the other way!
He realizes he went the wrong way, and turns back. He runs around the diamond. Foxy makes it to third, and heads for home plate. She makes it, making it a tie game. Chicken Little is running as the Taters are having trouble getting the ball. He makes it to first, and makes it to second. He runs for third, and the Taters see the ball gets stuck on the cow's horns. So, they tip him. Chicken Little makes it to third. Everyone cheers, seeing he made it, but are shocked to see that he's still running for home plate. Mr. Dog tries to tell him to go back, saying that he won't make it, but Chicken Little ignores him. Foxy gasps, and sees that they're getting closer. She signals him to slide on his knees. He loses the helmet, and runs faster as they're getting closer. Then, he slides, and they toss the cow. The scene remains the same on this. Everyone thought they'd lost, but they cleared the dust and dirt, and Chicken Little made it, with his foot barely touching home plate. The crowd cheers loudly at this, and so does his friends and father. Foxy smiles, and jumps up in the air, laughing and cheering. Chicken Little also smiles, and cheers with her. Mr. Dog is angry at them, for stealing his victory. Right now, Chicken Little and Foxy are winners. They both look at each other, and smile, knowing that this is the start of a good friendship, for their incidents are now forgotten by this victory. Buck and Foxy's parents come running on the field, and hug their kids.
Foxy: Mom, dad, I did it! I helped win the game!
Mrs. Loxy: We're so proud of you, sweetie!
Buck: (Hugs his son) I knew you could do it, son. I'm so proud of you. You are now the hero of winning the pennant.
Chicken Little smiles at his dad, and hugs him more. He hugs him back.
Buck: I love you, son.
Chicken Little: I love you too, dad.
Abby, Runt, and Fish are very happy for their friends, seeing that they're now heroes of winning the pennant for the Acorns.
