"is everything okay?"

Rohit hear shubham asking as he nod since he left the practice in the middle urgently, everyone has been worried as he excused himself by saying 'virat does not know the medicine' which everyone believed............or let it go then.

Looking around rohit noticed jassi staring at him. Of course everyone knows after mahi, it is jassi only who get to know about the matter before anyone else. Jassi might seem like a naughty child but he has a serious side too, his senses are sharp and there is no denying, if something happens with Mahi, jassi will definitely get to know about it. It is obvious by now that jassi already has noticed the tension between all three or maybe in between rohit and virat.

Rohit look at his left finding virat talking with shubham, normally making Rohit scoff internally. How cool of him to behave so naturally when he is this much insane like as if he is not even in the case, forget about being belligerent. No wonder mahi stopped him from telling other, they might be team..........family but even they won't believe that virat can do this unless they see it themselves cause even mahi and Rohit expected it.

Rohit look behind, hearing footsteps only to find it is mahi who is coming while rubbing his eyes, still a little bit sleepy, unknown to everyone's stare on him. As soon mahi clear his eyes properly, everyone surrounded him asking about his health as he reassured them before jassi took him to eat while rohit watch him being himself...........................even if a little bit as he mutter out "at least he is calm now"

AT EVENING

Rohit felt his lungs filling with fresh air as he lean against the balcony railing while the cold breeze cares his hair. Having such a peaceful moment is like a dream-

"hey!"

-maybe it is a dream.

Turning around rohit found virat standing there, looking completely normal and causal yet the look in his eyes deceived his fake composture as Rohit chuckled to himself before asking.

"met the therapist?"

Rohit can clearly see virat's eyes being darker by each passing seconds as virat walk towards him, standing face to face before saying while keeping a direct eyes contact with Rohit.

"You have already put your leg in between, now don't force me to take bend path, I knew that you have these feelings-" Rohit frowned confusingly while virat unfazedly continued "-don't think I can't see, if you can't. He is mine, bastard"

Rohit watch virat going away just as calmly as he came while rohit just confusingly tries to comprehend what virat just said.......what kind of feelings is he talking about?

Walking inside Rohit went towards his room only to find virat pressing mahi against wall while kissing until his eyes caught rohit standing in the between the corridor as he kept direct eyes contact with Rohit without blinking, continuing his kissing. They hear ishan, hardik and Rahul's voice coming making virat break the kiss, licking his lips with a smirk while looking at rohit whose fist are clenched shut. After virat left, mahi immediately run inside rohit's room as Rohit stayed there until the three came.

"Aree! Rohit bhai, what are you doing here?"

"wanna play with us?"

"yes, Rohit bhai, come"

Rohit look at them before shaking his head as they dejectedly nodded, going towards the practice while rohit went to his room.

AT NIGHT

"this is yummy"

"truth.......by the way mahi bhai"

"hmm?"

"I went to your room but you weren't there. Are you staying somewhere else?"

"I....uh....."

"he was in my room, we were playing ludo" Rohit answered as Mahi nodded, smiling gratefully which rohit took gratefully before they hear jassi asking "was his room clean?" only to get cut off by hardik who exclaimed asked "forget about room, was his washroom clean?"

"Oyee!!" Rohit exclaimed while everyone laugh before rohit caught mahi laughing with Rahul............the first happy laugh mahi let out after that incident. Rohit felt as if his eyes got stuck on the face which is again blooming with happiness like as if someone has light up a candle in the darkness until he look up only to make eyes contact with virat.
The stare is straight without blinking making Rohit frown a little before he hear a light chuckle making him look at mahi while virat's eyes are straightly boaring into him.

"it seems today's day is nice, even Rohit bhai is smiling after whole day"

Rohit felt his eyes widen a little............Had he didn't smiled for a whole day? Even for faking? Not a little? Then what made him smile now?

"I think, we should sleep soon, tomorrow we have to practice early"

"yes bhai!"
"yes mahi bhai!"
"as you say Captain"
"haha, As the leader says"
"now, as the bhai says"

Ah.............he did have a reason to smile..........no wonder virat suddenly came to warn him. He definitely slipped down badly and now it seems, it is going to make a wound...........very painful one, above all.

"are you coming ro?" Rohit look up feeling a sudden tug inside by looking at this person..........mahi, as he shake his head "not, now. I will walk outside for a while"

Mahi nodded before looking towards virat who look at him before he nodded, going towards his room leaving mahi and Rohit alone and soon only rohit alone as mahi also left to their shared room.

Rohit covered his face with hands before leaning back, looking at the ceiling while a sudden smile spread on his face as he let out a bitter chuckle..................indeed life, it always put person's on the broken bridge where only one thing can cross.............not the happiness, definitely.
