Chapter 2:- Apology

Akshu and Aaru woke up and freshened up. They went to the dining table for breakfast.

"Good morning, Aaru," Akshu said.

"Good morning, everyone," they said together.

They all sat down for breakfast.

"Aaru, I think you should leave Birla Hospital," Kairav said.

"No, bhaiya, I won't leave Birla Hospital as it wasn't my mistake. So why should I do something that shows it's my mistake?" Aarohi said.

"I am proud of you, Aaru," Akshu said.

Not everyone agreed, but half-heartedly they accepted for her to work. Aaru and Akshu went to the hospital. They went to their respective departments. After whatever happened yesterday, Mahima called Aaru to her room.

"I am sorry, Dr. Aarohi. Yesterday, we didn't get a chance to apologize, but you today at the hospital."

"Ma'am, we should keep our personal and professional lives apart. I won't let my personal life affect my professional life, so I am here," Aarohi said.

Mahima and Harsh were impressed by her. Aaru left the room.

"I think she is the best choice for Abhimanyu," Mahima said.

"Exactly, bhabhi. See, she has the same attitude as Abhimanyu. Same equation for work as him. If any other girl were in her place, she would be crying."

"Yes, and she would have left the work also. I think Abhimanyu should choose her, not Akshara."

He was shocked to see Aarohi.

Abhimanyu tells her the work she was supposed to do. Aaru was about to leave the room, but Abhi stopped her.

"Wait, Dr. Aarohi."

"Yes, sir?"

"I am sorry for all that happened yesterday. I know it was my mother's mistake. It may have hurt you a lot, but I was truthful yesterday. For you, as if we would get married, both of our lives would have been spoiled. I am really sorry.

Aarohi, without any response, left the room, leaving Abhimanyu confused.

"Did she forget me or not?" Abhimanyu wondered.

Aarohi went on rounds and was attending to her patients. Abhimanyu was adorning Akshu. Aarohi came to him with files.

"Sir, here are the reports of the patient," she said.

Abhimanyu didn't respond.

"Sir, sir," she repeated.

Abhi didn't say anything.

"Dr. Abhimanyu," she called out.

"Why are you shouting, Dr. Aarohi? Can't you speak softly?" Abhimanyu asked.

"You weren't listening to me. I called you so many times, but you were lost somewhere."

"Ok, I am sorry. Wait, actually, Mom wants to meet you at the cafe, and please bring Akshu along."

"Why did Manjari ma'am call me?"

"Actually, she wanted to apologize for what happened yesterday."

"Ok, Akshu and I will come to the cafe."

"Ok, thanks, Aarohi," Abhimanyu said.

She left from there. Abhimanyu was getting offended as Aarohi wasn't talking to him properly.

Evening, Abhimanyu and Manjari were waiting for Akshu and Aaru. They both were coming and were looking for Abhi and Manjari. Aaru was not interested; she was using her phone while walking.

"Aaru, I need to go to the restroom. You go, I will come," said Akshu.

"Ok, Akshu."

While using her phone, Aaru bumped into someone. The person held Aaru by the waist. Aaru closed her eyes. The person was looking at her innocent face and was lost in her beautiful face. Akshu saw them and adored them.

"Hay, these both are looking so beautiful. Abhi is a perfect choice for Aaru; he hasn't realized his love for her," thought Akshu.

Aaru opened her eyes and was shocked to see the person.

"Abhimanyu!"

Abhi made her stand properly.

"I am sorry, Abhimanyu. I was using my phone."

"It's perfectly alright. Where is Akshara?"

"She has gone to the restroom; she must be coming."

"I am here, guys," said Akshu.

Abhimanyu was very happy to see Akshu. The trio of them went to the table where Manjari was sitting.

Aaru and Akshu wished Manjari a good evening.

"Aaru beta, I am really sorry for the misunderstanding that happened yesterday. It was all my fault," Manjari said sadly.

"It's alright, aunty. We are all human beings and human beings are allowed to make mistakes, so it's perfectly alright," Aaru said.

"You are a gem, beta. May God give you the best life partner."

"Thank you, aunty."

"So, people, let's order. What will you have?" Abhi asked.

"I must leave. You people enjoy," Manjari said.

Akshu and Aaru took her blessings.

"Aaru, what will you have?" Akshu asked.

"I will have a cup of cappuccino," Aarohi replied.

They all ordered their stuff and ate. At last, Abhimanyu apologized to both of them and extended his hand for friendship. Akshu accepted it, but Aaru left from there without saying anything.
