Chapter 8:- Marriage Proposal

Everything was going well.

"Listen, everyone. Akshara loves Abhimanyu, so we are getting them married," Mimi said at the dining table.

Everyone was shocked by this statement, but it pinched Aarohi the most.

"Mimi, what are you saying? Abhimanyu Birla betrayed our Aaru, and you want Akshara to marry him?" Kairav said.

"Yes, Maa, how can you forget Aaru's pain so easily?" Bada Papa said.

"I can't forget Aaru's pain, but see Akshara's happiness. She loves Abhimanyu, and he loves her," Mimi said.

They all looked towards Aaru, who was looking down and having her food quietly, not wanting to engage in the argument.

Everything went well. Abhimanyu and Akshara's engagement was next week. Everything was going perfectly, just perfect. But Aaru's heart was breaking every time seeing the preparations. She remembered her time and saw that Mimi showed no interest at that time, and now she is doing all the preparations. Aryan was living at the Goenka house. Aryan saw Aarohi broken.

"I know Aaru, you must be thinking, why didn't Mimi show any interest at that time?"

"Yes, Aryan, I did. I made such a mistake years back that she hates me now so much."

"Aaru, shut up. You didn't do anything. It was only Akshara's mistake. She used your name, and still, you believe it was your mistake."

Aaru was in a hurry, and here Abhimanyu was entering the house. They both bumped into each other.

Abhimanyu held Aarohi by the waist, and they both looked into each other's eyes, their eyes locked for a couple of minutes. Aarohi stood properly.

"You could have also walked properly so that we both wouldn't collide. By the way, where are you going?"

"I am going to the hospital, Dr. Abhimanyu. I am working."

"I am also a doctor and working. So, what's your reason, Aarohi?"

"Okay, I have important patients to see."

Then Aaru and Akshu went to try their dresses.

Both Aaru and Akshu came. Aaru was wearing a royal blue lehenga, and Akshara was wearing a light blue lehenga.

They both were looking extremely hot and gorgeous. Abhimanyu was only looking at Aarohi and didn't even notice Akshara.

"Abhi, now I am looking," Akshara questioned.

"Beautiful," Abhi said, looking at Aarohi.

"Thank you," Akshara replied, bringing Abhimanyu back to his senses.

"Why am I thinking about Aarohi, but she is looking so beautiful?" Abhimanyu's mind stated.

A person kept his leg on Aarohi's lehenga and didn't notice. Abhimanyu noticed that Aarohi was going further because of the stuck lehenga. Aarohi was about to fall, but Abhimanyu held her by the waist, giving shivers to her body. Abhimanyu's hand was on her bare waist, giving shivers through Aarohi's spine. They both looked into each other's eyes and were lost there. The eye lock was broken by Aryan's fake coughing. They came back to reality, feeling awkward. They all went home after shopping.
