The sadness for me is that the woman in the video is my own mother. And that I am one of the two terminally ill people that is being spoken about in the article. I have Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, which is apparently considered a terminal illness. Something I never knew until barely a decade ago. It makes my legs incredibly weak and makes it hard to walk. I suffer from muscle pain, bone pain and fatigue. I cannot take care of myself as I would like to. That is why my stories, my art and my videos are so important to me. It allows me to just speak up, because I am stuck in the shadows.
