Everyone was up bright and early by 6 o'clock. Jonas, being the athlete he is, had already gone for a jog at 5 in the morning. Cyrill was busy preparing breakfast for the group and packing our lunches for the competition. Ace, our group leader, was meticulously checking all the equipment we'd need later on. Meanwhile, the girls were ironing costumes and prepping props that Jonas and I would use. I felt a twinge of guilt for waking up later than everyone else.
"Is there anything I can do to help?" I asked, still yawning.
"Perhaps you could arrange the table for breakfast once Jonas returns," Kira suggested.
"Of course," I agreed.
"And could you brew some coffee for us?" Alisa asked, looking hopeful.
"No problem at all," I replied with a smile.
While the coffee was brewing, I set the table, trying to push distracting thoughts aside. "This competition is crucial; I need to stay focused," I reminded myself. I could discuss my concerns with Jonas after the competition. Lost in thought, I didn't realize Jonas had returned until he started pouring the freshly brewed coffee and began making coffee for everyone.
"Hey, black coffee for you," Jonas said, flashing his charming smile.
As everyone settled at the table, getting themselves coffee, it felt like a feast. We had fluffy pancakes, crispy bacon, scrambled eggs, and hash browns.
"Jonas, why didn't you add some sugar and cream to Hart's coffee? It's too bitter," Cyrill remarked.
"It's okay, I actually prefer my coffee black," I reassured, catching Jonas's approving smile.
"How did you know she likes it black?" Alisa asked, giving us a curious look.
"Just a guess. I used to be a barista, so I usually have a hunch about people's preferences," Jonas replied, stretching the truth a bit. The mention of black coffee triggered another daydream, pulling me back to memories of LA.
"Drakey..." Isaid while we walked towards the exit.
"Uh huh"
"Coffee?" I begged.
"A drunk girl wants coffee at 2 in the morning... are you kidding me?"
"Nope. Make me coffee" I demanded.
"Alright!" He said. Since I doesn't want to disclose where I stay, and we have nowhere else to go he decided to bring me to his apartment. He immediately led me to the sofa and so that he can make some coffee.
"Hey, where's the bathroom?" I asked and he the door at the end of the hallway. I run towards it as was ready to puke any moment.
"How do you want your coffee?" He shouted.
"I want it black!" I shouted back.
"Hart? Hello?" Kira inquired.
"Earth to Hart?" Alisa teased.
"Oh, sorry, I was lost in thought," I admitted with a smile, my mind wandering back to the possibility that he could be Drake.
We wrapped up our breakfast with a final discussion, then began preparing for the competition scheduled for 10 in the morning. The girls and I headed to the prep room where they assisted me with my costume and makeup, while Jonas started getting ready with the boys.
The costume is a striking ensemble that accentuates every move on the dance floor. It features a sleek and form-fitting bodysuit made of high-quality stretch fabric that hugs my curves perfectly. The bodysuit is embellished with sparkling rhinestones and shimmering sequins, creating a dazzling effect under the stage lights.
The neckline of the bodysuit is plunging, adding a touch of allure, while the back is designed with a low, open cut to highlight her toned back muscles. The sleeves are long and fitted, reaching down to my wrists, with delicate cut-outs that add a hint of sophistication.
Completing the look, the costume includes a pair of high-heeled dance shoes adorned with matching rhinestones, elongating my legs and adding to the overall glamorous appeal. My hair is styled in a sleek and voluminous updo, complemented by dramatic makeup featuring smoky eyes, bold lashes, and a glossy lip.
I must say, I looked stunning. The girls did an amazing job.
"Wow! You look absolutely beautiful! If there were an award for the most beautiful dancer, it would definitely go to you!" Alisa exclaimed excitedly.
"Absolutely," Kira agreed, high-fiving Alisa.
"Stop it, you're making me blush with all these compliments," I said, laughing along with them.
Just then, the door swung open, revealing Jonas - my dance partner.
Jonas is wearing a sleek and modern ensemble that highlights his physique and will enhance his every movement on the dance floor. It consists of a form-fitting black dance shirt made of high-quality stretch fabric, tailored to accentuate his toned chest and arms. The shirt features subtle shimmering accents, adding a touch of sophistication and catching the light with each move.
Paired with the shirt are tailored black dance pants that fit him perfectly, showcasing his athletic legs and allowing for fluid movement. The pants have a subtle sheen to them, adding to the overall polished look.
Completing the ensemble are a pair of black dance shoes with a slight heel, designed for both style and functionality. The shoes are sleek and polished, adding to his height and posture while providing the necessary support for his dance routines.
His hair is styled in a modern and trendy manner, complementing his sharp facial features. A touch of subtle makeup, including smoky eyes and a hint of bronzer, enhances his natural charm and charisma.
The girls' excited voices snapped me back to reality. I realized I had been staring at him, completely captivated. He seemed to be looking at me just as intently. Our eye contact was broken by Alisa's comment.
"Ace, your injury might actually be a blessing in disguise. You two look even better together," Alisa said, gesturing towards Jonas and me.
"I agree," Kira chimed in.
"Ouch! You're hurting my feelings, girls," Ace joked, feigning a sad expression.
"But they're just speaking the truth, bro!" Cyrill added, sending us all into laughter.
