Nisha's  pov :

A sudden tense voice echoed through the door where I was standing, when I turned my head only to find a black figure standing opposite to me.

His tone was indeed creepy and I couldn't figure out how his face looked.
The incessant noise of people clapping broke the silence and I walked past him trying my best not to drop any tears of sweat.

I silently lifted up my long gown, and started walking towards the entry gate only to hear my name being called aloud from the hall , though the source of the voices were obscure.

I was about to walk in when I felt a pair of hands dragging me to a street corner covering my mouth .

I felt as if though my hands had been tied and my mouth had been sealed with some cloth. Neither could I scream nor could I protest.

I tried by best to free myself from the monster like figure that had pinned me to wall. I bit his hand indecisively when,

I felt a jolt of thunder striking my body. Something very sharp struck onto my abdomen as I looked down to see a knife had been inserted, I tried pushing that man away, when he tried to choke me.

Tears ran down my cheek as the figure suddenly disappeared like some shadow and I sat down with hands on my abdomen crying hard, probably taking my last breath.

All of a sudden a female nonchalant voice filled my ears. I couldn't identify the owner of the voice, when a sudden echo reverberated .

It was as if though the voice had been trying to strike me from every direction possible.

The voice commanded

"For those who do not oil their own machine and try interfering between other's lives, death may hit you so hard that you also lose the ability to reincarnate. For all those who demand justice, don't try it, you will suffer something worse than death"

The voice kept on echoing, when a cold hand touched my shoulder, the person's nails digging deep into my collar bone.

The tears that had dried started flowing again, but this time not because of pain, but because of seeing a person I'd have never expected to see in my whole damn life . My eyes started aching when they landed on a familiar pair of eyes,

A pair of eyes I adore .

My body travelled with a deep emotion , my lips quivered when I saw that lady and it actually took me a moment to realise if it was she or not.
I closed my eyes and opened them once again only to spot the person, in front of me standing while an enlarge smirk crept onto her face.

Yes, it was best friend, Ritika.

She kneeled down to my level cupping my cheeks and whispering into my ears
"You shouldn't have trusted a backstabber Nishu"
