Jyoti's pov :
"Accha suno, can I ask you something? I mean it's been a long time since I've noticed. Why is that date your password?"
I asked, squinting my eyes."Oh, they are for a special person" he answered, assuring me.
"Special person?" I asked my heart, bouncing with curiosity at the sight of the date, which was nothing but my birthday.
"Oh, well, now that we are close I hope I can share my private things with you as well Mrs Singhania? "he teased, his face turning into a smirk.
"So there's this girl whom I actually, uhmmm... kind of liked when I was in 3rd grade. She was uhmm... like a... a crush I won't lie. Well I... . Uhmm kind of liked her but she went abroad during her teenage years and I uhmm never really got the chance to meet her." He explained.
"Okay? But then how'd this connect with the date? And how come you could crush on a girl you never met? I mean isn't that weird? And how'd you know where she went? And like, didn't she know about you?" He stopped me midway by pressing his hands on my lips, as he gazed on me deeply.
"I get it you're just trying to be jealous right, wifey?" He flipped his hair.
"I'm not interested please, it's just I'm asking" I yelled.
"Oh, okay, but won't you hear the back story?" He teased me thinking he's gonna make me jealous, but unfortunately little did he know it would end up as a fight.
"Oh well, tell me then Mr Singhania" I sat up from the couch moving away from his hands that had been securing my waist all along, as I let out a frustrated groan.
"Are are sunke to jao wifey" He called me back expecting a smile but I passed him an annoyed look.
"Do me a favour please"
"Anything for you my lady" He smiled like a stupid fool enticing an annoyed look from me.
"Please shut up then, before I kick your ass, or worse your cucumber"
He couldn't speak anymore after hearing my sassy reply. Words couldn't make their way through his mouth as he struggled to form an expression before passing me a horrified glance, as if he was scared.
"don't be scared hubby, kicking your cucumber won't destroy our kids" I came to him and held his cheeks forcing his lips to form a pout , but I suddenly backed off when I was reminded of a harsh reality.
He was astonished seeing this side of mine. A side not many have seen. A side which remains hidden to the world. There's always a happy soul behind the most broken hearts. It was probably the best possible living example of it.
As rightly said you take the man out of the trauma not the trauma out of the man. No matter how happy I might have looked, there laid back a soul of mine whose emotions were always caged. There was a time when I had stopped showing emotions to people just because I had the fear of being judged.
