Angels pov~

"so the information that vaggie gave me is the way that she and charlie got together. im still wondering have then even fucked yet. well with goody two shoes (charlie) recruiting dinners for the hotel they don't have the time . eh who cares?"

I think to my self walking over to my room.

one sip of the left over whiskey and I'm laying on the bed, scrolling through hellstagram.

"ugh" I grunt when seeing a video from Valentino saying "no bitches? then you have stitches" right there at the perfect..time. I get am voice messege from valentino.

"oh come on angel that what did was just a joke I never ment it" the next messege, "I SWEAR IF YOU DONT COME BACK IM GONNA FUCKING KILL YOU!!" yesh harsh. well I kinda have to go tommorow since, he owns my soul.

I put my phone away laying down and slowly drifting to sleep

"Husk's POV~

"Ugh, I feel like shit," I mutter to myself, my voice hoarse from the countless drinks.

"Oh, the pills must have worn off," I say, slowly pushing myself up from the disheveled sheets of my bed, reaching for a half-empty whiskey bottle on the nightstand.

I shuffle my way down to the bar, the dim lights of the hallway flickering as I bring the bottle to my lips and down the remaining liquid in one go.

Sinking into a worn barstool, I signal to the bartender for another, and another after that. The burn of alcohol against my throat is a familiar comfort, one I've sought after many long nights like this. It's been a while since I've let myself drown like this.

I try to shake the lingering thoughts of Angel from my mind, but they persist, refusing to be drowned out by the whiskey.

With a sigh, I make my unsteady way up to the floor where Angel's room is located. I pause outside his door, my hand hesitating before I knock, the sound echoing in the quiet hallway.

"Come in," his voice, like a warm breeze, calls out from within.

I push open the door slowly, my heart pounding in my chest. "You okay?" I manage to ask as I take a seat beside him on the edge of the bed.

"What do you want, Husk?" Angel's voice is soft, but there's an edge to it, a hint of vulnerability that tugs at my chest.

"I just... I wanted to see if you're okay," I reply, feeling suddenly awkward and out of place.

Angel's gaze softens, and he reaches out to touch my arm. "You know, Husk, I want to apologize for not taking better care of you."

I shake my head, feeling a lump form in my throat. "Why are you apologizing? You don't have to. I... I got rid of the stuff that was hurting me. I know I'll miss it, but... I feel more free without it."

As I speak, Angel pulls me into a tight hug, his warmth enveloping me. "Thank you," he murmurs against my ear.

I hold him back just as tightly, feeling a sense of peace settle over us.

"So, uh, what do you think if we, uh, you know..." Angel's voice trails off, a blush coloring his cheeks.

I chuckle softly, the tension easing between us. "Way to ruin the mood, Angel."

We both laugh, the sound filling the room with a warmth I haven't felt in a long time.

"Can I ask you something, Husk?" Angel's voice is hesitant, his gaze searching mine.

"Sure," I reply, the smile fading from my face as I see the seriousness in his eyes.

"I've been meaning to tell you something for a while now," he begins, his accent thickening with emotion. "It's... um... I like you, Husk. I've liked you for a long time, and I've been wondering... if maybe... you might feel the same way."

My heart skips a beat, and for a moment, the world seems to stand still. Angel's words hang in the air between us, and I can feel the weight of them pressing down on me.
