LORENZO looked extremely pissed off. I had so many questions that were happening, but I couldn't ask.
I ran back behind the stairs throwing myself around to see what was going to come.

"Enzo!" Kraven and the rest of them came up to him while he just stood there.
"They're here" he said quietly and Katrina for the first time look worried.

"Where is she?" Kraven asked about my whereabouts. "You don't need to know, I think I know why they're here." His voice stayed calm.
The more I looked around, everything was slowed down.
Everyone except me and them—

I felt the ground thumping slow and loud in the house. I still peaked over to see that they were okay then I saw definitely more than two gold armored people walk inside.
I hid myself again putting the back of my head on the wall.

"Prince Lorenzo." One of them spoke from my ear distance. "Why the hell are you all here?" He ignored their welcome as I stupidly decided to look back again.
"We wanted to inform you that your mother is"—

"Dead?" He stops them.

"She is ill your highness" The armored man continued. "She wanted us to tell you. In other words you will have to be throne"—
"I get it." He didn't even want to hear what else they had to say. "Your mother wants to see you, tonight. You cannot decline or the royal gardes will be back." He said like he was reading off a manuscript.

"What does she want from me besides keeping the family line, Stefano is the better option for this." Lorenzo asks the garde. "Your mother thinks he isn't ready for such big responsibilities." They still retort on his behalf.

Lorenzo seemed completely unfazed by them. I wanted this to stop, I wanted them to leave him alone.
No one could even help—
"Tell her no. She sounds like she is in quite a pickle."

"Your highness she said she would take the girl if you don't concede." Lorenzo didn't answer.
"She knows you two have gotten along well and that she's a Cohen." They continued making me even more worried on what he's deciding to say.

"Okay." Is all he said—

"I'll meet you tomorrow and I'll go." He didn't like what he had to do and I sure didn't either. "Thank you, your highness" He bowed down to Lorenzo with everyone else behind him.

They disappeared just like that once he agreed.
The music became louder again letting me know everyone was moving in time. I walk out from underneath the stairs seeing Miguel was there. "Oh there you are" he came up to me wrapping his arm around my shoulder as we walked. I wasn't even paying attention because all of them disappeared already.
