The grin on Adrian's face could rival the midday sun as you chuckled. He pushed your wheelchair towards the grand double doors, the ornately carved wood gleaming under the afternoon light.

"Hold on tight, my love," he teased, a playful glint in his eyes. "This password entry might be a bumpy ride."

You arched an eyebrow. "My love, huh? Going a little possessive there, Mr. Norman?"

He winked, a hint of devilment in his gaze. "Just marking my territory, Hande. Wouldn't want anyone else thinking this beautiful mansion, or its equally beautiful occupant, belonged to anyone else."

A blush crept up your cheeks at his words. The audacity! Yet, a secret part of you couldn't help but find it endearing.

He punched in a series of numbers on the keypad beside the door, a satisfied smirk spreading across his face as the heavy doors hissed open with a sigh of displaced air.

"Welcome home, Hande," he announced with a flourish, gesturing grandly towards the entrance.

"Home?" you repeated, a playful smile tugging at the corner of your lips. "This feels a tad premature, wouldn't you say, considering our 'date' hasn't even officially started?"

Adrian chuckled, pushing you through the doorway. "Technically, sweetheart, you haven't said no to my date proposal yet. So, by the transitive property of love at first sight..." he trailed off, his voice dropping to a conspiratorial whisper, "this is already our first date at our new home."

You rolled your eyes, but couldn't suppress a giggle at his ridiculous logic. "Fine, Mr. Smooth Talker. You win this round. But don't get too comfortable. This whole kidnapping business still needs some serious discussion."

He threw his hands up in mock surrender. "Guilty as charged. But consider it an investment in our future. Think of it as a 'get to know you' weekend, with a touch of luxury thrown in for good measure."

You shook your head, a smile playing on your lips. This man was a walking contradiction - arrogant yet charming, powerful yet playful. One thing was for certain, life with Adrian Norman was never going to be dull.

"Alright, Mr. Norman," you conceded, a playful glint in your eyes. "Show me what this 'luxury' entails. But remember, I haven't forgotten about that kidnapping business. We'll be settling the score later."

Adrian's eyes sparkled with a mix of amusement and something deeper. "Later, then," he agreed, pushing you further into the mansion. "But for now, let's focus on the present. And trust me, Hande, with you by my side, this present is going to be unforgettable.
