Harry tied the navy blue ribbon around the parchment and attached it to the leg Evermore held out for him. He opened the window next to his nightstand for her and she flew off, already having her orders. Aunt Petunia would get the letter sometime in the next two days. Hopefully, she would approve of his request and the other two would behave.
According to Aunt Petunia's latest letter, Vernon was approaching thin ice. It was barely a week into the school year and he was already encouraging Dudley to get into a fight. The letter had told Harry that Aunt Petunia was getting closer and closer to filing for divorce after each argument.
Harry had been glad that she was standing up for herself but he was also worried that Vernon would get fed up with it and hit her. If that happened, he would have to tell Uncle Severus. He hoped it wouldn't escalate to that, though.
