Yamato was practically skipping through the streets, his enthusiasm infectious as he played the role of tour guide. "This spot has the best spices in town," he beamed, pointing to a shop that was a riot of colours and scents. The aroma of cinnamon, turmeric, and ginger tickled Shizui's nose, momentarily distracting him from the unsettling encounter. "You have to try their saffron," Yamato continued, his voice laced with excitement. "It adds a magical touch to any dish!"

"Magical, huh?" Yuno echoed, a playful glint in her eyes. "Perhaps we can use it to concoct some healing elixirs with unexpected properties."

Haruto chimed in, "Let's not get ahead of ourselves, Yuno. We still need to learn the basics before we start experimenting with the healing properties of spices."

Yamato chuckled, clapping Haruto on the shoulder. "Good point, young Haruto. But who knows, maybe with Yuno's knowledge and a dash of that saffron, you two will whip up something truly incredible!"

As they meandered through the bustling streets, Yamato continued his energetic tour. "And if you want robes, that place is a treasure trove," he said, nodding towards a shop overflowing with silks and satins in every imaginable colour. "They even have a section dedicated to the art of Terra Clan embroidery," he added, catching Shizui's eye.

Shizui felt a pang of longing for the familiar comfort of his own robes back in Palm Grove. Here, surrounded by the vibrant chaos of Aaru, he felt like an outsider, adrift in a sea of unfamiliar faces and customs.

Their next stop was a stall heaped with an abundance of fresh produce. "Freshest fruits and veggies right here," Yamato claimed, his voice booming above the din of the market. He picked up a plump, ruby-red apple, polishing it absentmindedly on his sleeve before offering it to Shizui.

"Thank you, Yamato," Shizui murmured, accepting the offering. The crisp coolness of the apple felt refreshing in his hand.

Then, with a proud wave towards a butcher's shop with gleaming cleavers and slabs of meat hanging from hooks, Yamato added, "And you won't find better meat anywhere! They even have these exotic cuts from Razortooth boars - perfect for a hearty stew!"

"Razortooth boars?" Haruto echoed, his eyes widening in surprise. "Those creatures are known for their ferocity. Are you sure it's safe to eat them?"

Yamato winked. "Only the bravest warriors dare to hunt them, young Haruto. But trust me, the meat is worth the risk. Tender, juicy, and packed with flavour!"

Just as Yamato was about to reveal another of his favourite spots, a scream shattered the calm of the marketplace. It came from an inn nearby, a shrill, panicked cry that sent shivers down everyone's spines. The playful curiosity that had colored their exploration instantly morphed into alarm.

"What was that?" Yuno gasped, clutching Haruto's arm instinctively.

"Sounds like trouble," Elven muttered, his brow furrowed in concern.

Without hesitation, the group rushed towards the inn, drawn by the urgent cry. Stepping inside, they were greeted by a scene of chaos. A group of young people, dressed in elegant golden robes, stood amidst the overturned furniture and scattered food. They exuded an air of arrogance and entitlement that was hard to miss.
