Two weeks later
In Shirabe, the gleaming capital city of the Biseh clan, tension crackled in the air. A lone figure, draped in a stark white cloak, materialized before the imposing gates of the royal palace. The guards, draped in golden robes, eyed the newcomer with suspicion.
Their leader, a grizzled veteran with a scar etched across his cheek, barked, "Halt! State your business."
The cloaked figure remained silent for a heartbeat, then spoke in a voice that held echoes of distant storms. "Deliver this message to the Head Clan leader," he said, his words clipped yet strangely resonant. "Tell him... two survivors have reunited."
Without waiting for a response, the figure turned and melted into the throng of bustling citizens, leaving the guards staring after him, unease clinging to them like a shroud. The weight of the cryptic message promised to disrupt the fragile peace that had settled over Shirabe.
