It was another day for the Eddsworld household.

**Tom's POV**

Bright lights burned through my closed eyelids. Waking up with a growl aimed at the sun, I heard a knock on my door. I groaned in response.

"Tom! I made breakfast! Eggs and bacon," Edd announced gleefully. Sometimes, I wished I could be that cheerful in the morning.

With a sigh, I got up, still in my black tank top and light grey baggy plaid pajama pants.

The kitchen was filled with light chatter from the two dorks. The aroma of bacon and eggs drew me in, and I hurried to grab a plate. Rudely shoving past Matt, who was leaning on the counter, I made sure to load my plate with more eggs than bacon, thinking Edd would appreciate the gesture, whether he noticed it or not.

I was halfway through my food when Edd started a conversation.

"Soooo... Tord texted me," he said with a smile.

I paused, fork halfway to my mouth.

"What for?" I asked, a bit harsher than intended.

"Tord mentioned that he's thinking of moving out of Paul's and Patryck's place and asked if we had any room for him."

I took a deep breath, choosing my words carefully. "And what did you tell him?"

"Of course!" Edd replied, still smiling.

"But Edd, we don't have room! We only have three rooms!" I reminded him. He owns the place, so he knows that. Edd must have some plan up his sleeve. The guys could see I was fuming, and Matt decided to chime in.

"Don't worry, Tom! Edd said Tord could share a room with you!"

I looked between them, shocked. "What?" I turned to Edd.

Edd pushed his chair in and walked over to me, glaring at Matt for spilling the beans.

"Tom, you don't even pay rent here. Tord needs a room, so yours it is."

"B-but-" I stammered.

"No buts! It's final," Edd said firmly.

That was enough to set me off. I shoved past both him and Matt, who were now watching from the hallway. I made sure to slam the door as I stormed into my room.
