It's already been a week of completely trying to avoid the twins. I've practically been hiding in my room the whole time. Fake sleeping has become my favorite hobby I've developed. I don't know how it started. Maybe it's because sleeping is the only time I can have some peace. Moments for myself without anyone disturbing me.
"Are you awake?" Angelina calls from across the room.
Okay, never mind. "Huh?" I pretend to wake up, yawning and stretching.

I look over at her. She's doing her perfectly curled hair by the vanity mirror. She looks at me through the mirror and then shamefully looking back at her hair. I get up, quickly do what I need to and pick an outfit. Today, I don't feel the need to use any effort. I put on a green off the shoulder top and khaki, linen shorts. I then put on white socks and brown slippers. I put my hair into a loose bun, letting my curtain bangs hang out. You know? Just to show that I care a little bit, haha. I grab my white headphones out of the drawer and walk into the common room. It's quite busy. I sit down on the couch, put on my headphones and play music. I close my eyes, lean on my hand, and slowly drift off. Before I can fall asleep I open my eyes and see George on the opposite couch staring at me. He doesn't say a word to me, but it's that same dull look he had yesterday. I can't tell what he wants with that expression. I take off my headset, about to ask him what he wants.
"Ava!" A man's voice calls out to me. I turn my head to look at who it might be. Someone I've never met yet. "Hi! I'm Oliver! I don't believe we've met. I've been busy practicing quidditch." He smiles.

I look back over at George and he's still staring. Avoiding his gaze, I turn back to Oliver. "Uh, hi! You... already know my name." I smile.

"I like your style." He looks at my clothes.

"Oh... thanks! I... guess I kind of tried." I shrug. "But. I was just trying to come out here comfy."

"It still makes you cute." He smiles with teeth this time. His teeth are straight and he has a nice smile. He seems to know it, smiling every chance he can get.

      "Thanks." I blush.

"So... quidditch tryouts is this upcoming Friday. You gonna be there?"

"Well, maybe you'll see me there. Maybe you won't." I giggle.

"Good! I plan to see you there then." He squints his eyes, smiling and trying to be funny.

      "Maybe."

"Well- I've got to head out. More practice to be done. But, if you're still here when I come back, I'll let you know how it went." He stands up and walks off.

"O-okay..." I quietly say, knowing he won't hear me.

George speaks up, "Don't bother, he won't be back until night. To him, quidditch comes first."

"I see... thanks for letting me know." I stand up to walk off.

"Sit down. Where are you going?" He asks.

"Uh... I'm not too sure. Just exploring the school." I stand still, scared to make a sound.
"Well... we'll wait for Fred to come back. We'll show you 'round." He says without a grin.
"That's no problem! I can find it mys-."

He grabs my hand and pulls me down to sit next to him. He crosses his arms, not saying anything. It just gets more awkward around him. I sigh, putting on my headphones to ease the tension. I look over at him. He's still staring at me. I gulp, looking away, quickly looking back at him, and away. I clear my throat and look at him again. He stays staring at me. I take off my headset.
"On second thought- I think I'm gonna head to my bed-."
