Ch 1. (Prolouge) Fitting in

*Lauren's POV*

I woke up to the fresh aroma of hot coffee. It is and definitely my roommate Jesse.

I decided to waddle out of bed to get a fresh start on this new and beautiful day.

"Morning Sleeping Beauty." Jesse says as she is making breakfast.

"Morning." I say with a giggle.

I grab my phone and start looking at the latest tweets and Tumblr posts.

"So I was thinking of going into town today after you come back from work?" She asks.

I put my phone down and respond, " ok sure."

She was still looking at me like if I said something wrong. Then her eyes started looking at the clock. I decided to turn around to see what lurked behind me.

"Oh Shit!" I said and ran to the shower.

It was 10:15 and I was going to be late for work. I took a quick shower and blew it dry. Then I got together my work clothes which was a blue crop top and black foe leather jeans. I Quickly did my makeup. And I went out the door.

While I left from the apartment I got a text from my boss saying;

"We had a minor delay in the shop so if you were rushing to work no need anymore. We expect you back in 20 minutes. "

After the text I was so relived. I decided to eat breakfast there since I didn't get a chance back at the flat cause I was rushing.

I just got the usual a caramel macchiato
And a small breakfast sandwich.
Luckily since there is wifi I could simply go on YouTube and watch my favorite people. Dan and Phil.

Dan and Phil are the reason I have my best friend today.
Jesse and I were both fangirls of them.
Jesse liked Phil more and I liked Dan more. But Jesse has sorta lost interest in them ever since she graduated college but once in while she will sneak a video.

But nothing has changed when it came to me.

I just decided to nicely spend my time here in Starbucks enjoying the morning.

Once it was time for work I started walking to the shops.

Let's just say I do have a car, technically it's Jesse's car but she so over protective about it but I don't blame it is a really expensive car.

~after work~

Once I finished work I decided to go back to the flat to meet Jesse to go into town.

Jesse and I have lived in London for 2 months now and we haven't explored every thing yet so we kinda get used to out surroundings.

Once I got to the apartment I was greeted by Jesse nicely dressed in a galaxy cat crop top and black skinny jeans with her black converse.
Her hair was lightly pulled up to a pony tail.

"Hey how was work?" She asks.

"Just like any other day." I respond.

"You ready to go into town?" She asks.

"Yea can I just change out of work clothes?"

"Take your time." She says with a smile at the end.

I nod my head and quickly change.

I decided to go for a blue muscle tank top and a black skater skirt with some converse and I just let my hair be natural and loose.

I walk out of my room and go to the living room and check up on Jesse.

She was just checking her laptop like a normal person.

"Ready to go?" I ask

She looks up at me and boss's then she stands up and we both have left the apartment.

Hello! So far this is where I'm ending the prologue. I know this sucks but it gets better when you read further ahead.

If I wish to continue this than I would have to finish one of the stories that I'm currently writing.

I just think it's a bit hard to write 3 stories at once.
