"Hey Gray!" Hopper calls out to behind me. I slow Selan down so our horses are next to each other. "I don't like this guy." He says in almost a whisper.

"Orion, Hopper, his name is Orion." I looked at him and rolled my eyes.

"I don't care what his name is I do not like him. Something is off about him."

"Give it a rest Hopper, I get it. You like to work alone. But Orion saved my fucking life. Where were you?" I know my voice is raising and I know Orion can hear me. "You fucking left. You didn't tell me shit. You don't get to chose the company or who I travel with. If you have a problem with anyone I travel with fucking leave."

"I... Gray." I didn't want to hear what he had to say I snap the reins and get in front of Orion. I need fresh air where I don't have those two boys looming behind me or technically in front of me.

As I look ahead on the road in the very far distance, I see the town. Looking around now I just see farms and fields. I know deep down Hopper is right. I have a weird deep feeling shoved far down in my stomach about Orion. He helped me though. If something was wrong with him, he would of just let me die. He traveled as fast as he could to get to me and nursed me back to health. Maybe there is something wrong with me and Hopper and we have our senses on such a high alert everything besides each other make it go off. No matter what Orion deserves the benefit of the doubt.

This got me thinking about Hopper. Why is he traveling with us? He left me alone before this shouldn't be that big of a deal. We have never had this kind of acquaintanceship before. Would he have helped me if I asked him all those months ago? On a job or tracking anything like that. I shake my head no he wouldn't so why be this so different.

I slow Selan back down so Orion can take the lead as the town approaches. I don't remember much about this down expect the inn. Truthfully, I don't even remember getting to the inn.

"Alright, show us where I was." I gestured using my hand for him to lead the way. Orion pulls ahead and leads us down back alley to back alley. We arrived at a run-down inn. It has an old straw and mud roof. It was never updated. The door is just wood planks thrown together. The windows are also bored up. Orion motions us to follow him around back to the small opening where two walls used to meet but have succumbed to years of abuse.

I follow Orion inside watching my step and I feel Hoppers hand on my back as we go through this small hole. It takes just a second for my eyes to adjust. When my eyes do adjust I see a very small room that looks like it used to be a kitchen. Heading to the run-down doorway I see a bar and very old and worn town tables and chairs. Something about this place feels off. It doesn't feel familiar and my body isn't giving off any warnings about being here before.

"This is where you found me?" I say to Orion.

"Yea, Selan took me right here." He looks back at me. "I actually found you upstairs in the furthest room." He waves and I follow. Hopper is busy looking at everything to see if he can find anything.

The stairs look like they are going to fall in at any time. The more I look at the place the less I believe they thought this out. Orion shows me the room where it happened, and I suck in a breath prepared to feel like I am under water. Nothing comes. I look around and see a chair in the middle of the room along with the windows and holes in the ceiling boarded up. I look around the dark room and I see a flash of something in my peripheral. I walk towards it slowly and see it is under a bunch of garbage. I move it out of the way with my boot. I gasp loudly and Orion comes rushing over. I bend over and pick up my small knife with the designs of the country. I grip it so tightly I cut the inside of my hand. I was here this is where they took my power. I wish they had my name instead of this.
