The first week of the new year, the British were crazy. It had snowed several inches that night and all of the tents had been blocked. Everyone had been freezing and developing claustrophobia.
Then when the guys freed everyone a snowball fight started, chilling and soaking everyone's thick jackets.
Leó hid in his tent because he was afraid of the cold. And allergic to it as well (Cold urticaria).
Whenever he got cold, hives appeared on his arms and legs and they itched like crazy.Eventually he trudged over to the fire and relaxed in the heat.
"Hey Leó!" A guy shouted and waved a snowball in the air. "How about you join us? Girls against boys!"The girls were shrieking and giggling in delight. The boys were making up battle plans and creating trenches.
"Fire!" One yelled and Leó looked around for the fire. A bombardment of snowballs fell upon the girls, making them panic and disoriented."Leó?" The guy called again, this time covered with snow.
Leó shook his head. He turned back to the fire as a snowball hit his head. Leó froze in shock.
"Leóóóóóó," The girl who had thrown it taunted him.He flicked the snow off himself, forcing his emotions to stay in the calm territory.
Leó stood up to look at the girl just as she nailed a shot in his face.
"Stop!" Leó shouted. He had lost his cool. "I'm allergique!"
[allergic]"Ay, be quiet, are you stupid?" Bryce stood in front of Leó, maybe a few inches taller. "You can't be allergic to snow."
"Non...?"
[No...?]
Bryce shoved him and he fell into the fire.
"Oops," Bryce muttered. Except he didn't know that Leó was fine.Leó stepped out the fire completely free of burns.
"What??" All the campers exclaimed."A flame fire..." Bryce growled and backed away.
"That explains why you are allergic to cold," the girl laughed.
Leó nodded and warily sat back down.
"But why are you scared of the beach?"
Leó tensed and thought slowly for his answer. "I can't tell you," is all he said.
He wanted to say it was personnel to him but what was the word?
[personal]It was several months later, on Leó's birthday that he received his first letter.
It was from Estelle.
Salut Leó!
Joyeux anniversaire!!
écris-moi.

I'm really sorry for before... I didn't mean to kiss you.
