"Want you to make me feel, like I'm the only girl in the world...." -Rihanna

I leaned in and kisses Faith deeply. My tongue entered her mouth and our tongues were having a fight for control. After a few seconds, a alarm beeped in my head & I immediately pulled back.

She taste good, I thought. I licked my lips and stared into Faith's grey/brown eyes , then shook my head, chuckling.

"What you wanna eat, lil girl?" I said, retreating to the kitchen.

She probably think I'm a asshole for that but what else is new? I heard her mumble some shit, but I decided not to think too much of it,

"You have French toast?" She asked, walking behind me.

"Mhmm." I said, going into the kitchen.  She just rolled her eyes and started to text on her phone.

" What I do now." I groaned, placing her French toast inside the toaster.

" Nothing, your fine. I'm just thinking." She said, playing with her hair as she scrolled down her phone.

" Tell me what's on your mind." I leaned against the wall.

" Something I'm not ready to talk about right now, sorry." She pulled at her hair.

I raised a eyebrow and shrugged. "Aight."

She looked my way. "You was suppose to be like , nah tell me."

"I ain't gonna pressure you into tellin me something if you don't wanna tell me." I shrugged and waited for the toaster to buzz, meaning the French toast was finished.

"You ain't a good black Dr.Phil." She mumbled.

I chuckled and shook my head. "I guess."

"Where's Isaac mom?" She asked quietly.

I clenched my jaw as I opened took the French toast and put it on a plate, slamming it in front of her.

"It's none of your business, where she is." I spat.

She glared at me. "I just asked a question. Damn calm the fuck down."

I stared at her and chuckled, lowly. "A question that had nothing to do with you knowing the answer. Asking all these questions at gonna get you killed one day. You know what they said. 'Curiosity killed the cat' " I replied.

She kept quiet and ate her French toast.

"You have any syrup?"

"None for you."

She eyed me and smacked her teeth, "you are so annoying."

"You one to talk. You irk my soul." I scoffed, leaning back on the counter with my arm folded, watching her eat.

"We was suppose to hang out. Ya ass never texted me when you was gonna pick me up." She said, changing the subject.

Something I've noticed she likes to do... A lot.

"You slipped my mind to be honest." I shrugged, not caring if her feelings were hurt.

"You are such a asshole." She spat.

"One of a kind asshole." I corrected her causing her to roll her eyes.

"See imma go. You irritating me." She got up from the chair and pushed the empty plate towards me.

I chuckled and pointed to the plate. "Not before you wash your damn plate. You not 'bout to come in hea', vent, eat my food then leave."

She giggled, "haha you funny." She walked towards the door.
