Book 2 Chapter 1: Second Chance

She opened her eyes and takahashi was standing infront of her. 'What..im..still alive?!wait..the knife!' She spun around and avoided his surprise attack from behind. "Hey! Snap out of it are you really trying kill me?!" She yelled. Takahashi didn't listen as he just stared at her, he was full of blood lust.

She smacked him with the pipe and he was taken aback with her sudden actions. He finally snapped out of it and shuji arrived on the right time and got takahashi on his bike.

"Hey just where do you guys think you're going?!" She yelled as she threw the pipe on shuji's helmet. "Sigh..just what the fuck happened.." she ruffled her hair as she stormed off. She saw toman laughing and having fun because of their win against black dragons, she suddenly felt puzzeled as to why this has happened.

'Did akira do this to me..she gave me a second chance huh..'

She scoffed and ran towards them crying. Takemichi saw her and waved at her, but he noticed she was crying. "Are you okay?!" Takemichi yelled. "Yeah! Fine as ever!" She smiled.

She hugged takemichi and chifuyu as shs continued to shed tears. "Hey whats this all about huh?" Chifuyu laughed. "Nothing, just greatful be alive again!" She sniffed. "What?" The two asked.

"Nothing..hahahahah..anyways wheres yuzuha and hakkai are they alright?!" She looked around for them. "Yeah..were fine shuya" hakkai spoke. "Yuzuha is still sleeping though" he smiled.

She cried even more, she was relieved to hear their alright, she went inside the church and found taiju kneeling on the floor. She approached him and put her hand on his shoulder. "So? How do you feel now. How do you feel about losing?"

Taiju just stared there blankly.

Shuya tore her shirt and placed it on taiju's hip. "I've already called an ambulance taiju. Stay put here for now.." she said as she pressed on his bleeding wound. He groaned in pain but he didn't hit her this time. Well he really cant hit her because of his lack of energy.

The sirens were wailing as the ambulance arrived infront of the church, she helped taiju control the blood as soon as the paramedics came in to take him to the hospital. "Hey shuya! Happy birthday!" Shuya was startled by the sudden hug in her back, yuzuha who had a wide smile on her face as she hugged her.

"Y-Yuzuha?! How are you feeling?!" She was concerned on how yuzuha was feeling. "Im fine! Lets just go out for your birthday okay? Lets tell hina-chan!" She clinged onto her arm as she put her other hand to her stomach and dragged her outside the church.

As soon as she got home. She saw a paperbag infront of the door in her room that was full of clothes inside of it. And it said happy birthday to our little sis. TS. She already knew whom it was from.

She wore it and got outside of the door. "Shuya!" Hina waved at her. They went to different stores and food stalls. They watched movies, and shuya had fun with her friends. Simply was the happiest day.

After all that then shuya got home very tired and she slept on the couch.

"Hey. Can you wake up now?"

"Akira?" Shuya was trapped in a place where she always meet akira. Akira is known as shuya's alternative self who chose her to be the replacement soul for her body to be able to live as shuya hanma. "Mhm, looks like you're all better now." Akira smiled as she float around shuya. "Did you do this?.." shuya asked.

"Yeah, to be honest its kind of a pity to see you die just like that. Plus i still need you to fulfil that role for me."

"Oh no, not with this villain bullshit again.."

"Takahashi's right anyway..you cant just save them from whatever they're going through and thats not the reason why i just brought you here y'know?" Shuya rolled her eyes as she sighed.

"Great, so from the very start you want me to ruin their lives with my brother and kisaki. And since i made kisaki a good guy you gave me a double faced bitch of a best friend takahashi akio who have bloodlust and tries to kill me just because i want to save them. Great. Just GREAT"

"Exactly! Now you're getting it." She made a finger heart to shuya who was so pissed at her and everything. "I WAS JUST BEING SARCASTIC JEEZ.." she yelled. "Can you just get me the hell outta here?!"

"Fine. You're being annoying anyway."

She snapped her fingers and shuya opened her eyes. She was inside her room and beside her was shuji, he was sleeping so peacefully. "Wow. Now you care? The fuck man give me a break already." She muttered.

"I was given a second chance anyway so why not live ife to the fullest instead?" She got out of her bed and wore the clothes she usually wear. As soon as she got out of the door in such a happy mood. She took a step forward and a car suddenly came overspeeding down the street. She couldn't move and inch.

She got ran over.

She woke up once again in her room while shuji was sleeping on the chair beside her. 'The fuck?! I just got ran over though?!' She messed up her hair trying to process things. "What..its still the same day?!" She looked at her phone and its still december 26 2005.

"Is..is it looping or something?!"
