This chapter is a bit long because it talks about Inaya's past trauma. Sorry, I won't keep the next chapters long.

I couldn't believe it. The betrayal cut through me like a knife, slicing through the trust I had foolishly placed in him. As I recounted the harrowing incident to James, the memory flooded back with vivid clarity, each detail etched into my mind like a scar.

I confided in him, revealing the night I had been alone with my assistant, the man I had once considered a trusted colleague. His actions, so sinister and unexpected, shattered the illusion of safety I had foolishly held onto.

Flashback from 2 months ago

The office was eerily quiet, the only sound the soft shuffle of papers and the distant hum of the air conditioning. I rubbed my tired eyes, exhaustion weighing heavy upon my shoulders. Working late had become a dreaded routine, but tonight felt different, a palpable tension hanging in the air.

"Inaya, you seem exhausted. Here, let me help you," Ton's voice sliced through the silence, his presence sending a chill down my spine. I glanced up to see him approaching, his eyes glinting with an unsettling hunger. Nodding weakly, I accepted his offer of water, my fingers trembling as I took a sip.

But as the minutes passed, a strange fog descended over me, clouding my thoughts and leaving me feeling disoriented. I struggled to make sense of what was happening. And then, like a nightmare come to life, I felt his hands on me, his touch igniting a firestorm of fear and panic within me.

"T-Ton?" I stammered, my voice trembling with disbelief as I recoiled from his touch. But there was no mistaking the hunger in his eyes, the twisted grin that twisted his features as he advanced upon me.

Panic clawed at my chest as Ton drew closer, his touch becoming more invasive with each passing moment. "You look tense, Inaya. Let me ease your burden," he whispered, his voice dripping with a sickening sweetness. His hands roam over her trembling form, his touch no longer comforting but suffocating

I recoiled, my heart pounding in my chest as I struggled to break free from his grasp. "Stop... please, just stop," I pleaded, my voice barely a whisper.

Ton only chuckled darkly, his grip tightening around me as he leaned in closer. "You can't fight it, Inaya. You are mine," he sneered, his words sending a shiver down my spine.

Tears welled up in my eyes as I fought against him, my feeble attempts to resist futile against his overpowering strength. "No... I don't belong to anyone," I choked out, my voice trembling with fear and defiance.

Inaya's tears fall freely as Ton's grip tightens, his desires growing more twisted with each passing moment

"I know you love me, You always cared about me, Inaya. Do you know how many nights I've spent watching you work, admiring your beauty as you laugh and the way you smile? You're like a goddess, Inaya, and I've always wanted to worship you." But now, it's time for me to give that love that you deserve."

As panic surged through my veins, a desperate urgency seized me, compelling me to take action. With trembling hands, I shoved Ton away and sprinted for the safety of the office door, my heart pounding with every step I took.

My fingers fumbled with the lock as I struggled to secure the door behind me, the sound of Ton's laughter echoing in my ears like a cruel taunt. But just as I thought I had finally escaped his clutches, a cold dread washed over me as I realized the gravity of my situation.
