It's been two weeks since her recovery began. Soon, her nightmares faded, and she started getting better. She laughed more often and began eating proper meals.

Seeing her like this, almost back to her normal self, filled me with immense happiness. Knowing I could make her feel safe brought me a sense of purpose and fulfillment.

Sometimes, I'd flirt with her just to see her cheeks turn that adorable shade of red. The way she blushed and tried to hide her face made my heart swell with affection. She hadn't replied to my confession yet, but that was alright. I could wait.

For the past week, she had been busy with something on her laptop. I didn't pry because she seemed happy, and that was enough for me. Her happiness was my priority, and whatever she was working on, it was clearly bringing her some joy.

Meanwhile, I had also started attending my practices and events again, finding a balance between my professional commitments and being there for her.

One evening, after finishing my practice, I walked into the living room to find her deeply engrossed in her work. She looked up as I entered, a slight smile on her face that faltered a bit when she saw me. I couldn't resist teasing her a bit, hoping to lighten the mood.

"Sweetie, do you have a Band-Aid?" I asked with a mischievous twinkle in my eye.

She furrowed her brow, clearly confused by my question. "A Band-Aid? Why? Did you get hurt somewhere?" she replied, concern flickering in her eyes.

"Because I just scraped my knee falling for you," I said with a playful grin, trying to inject some humor into the moment.

She chuckled softly, though I could sense her nervousness underneath. " Ohh my god Phi... you and your cheesy lines, both are unbelievable "she said, shaking her head affectionately.

I couldn't help but grin at her reaction, enjoying the easy banter that had become a comfortable rhythm between us. Leaning in slightly, "They work, don't they" I teased, gently nudging her shoulder.

She rolled her eyes playfully. "Umm.... Maybe just a little," she admitted with a smirk, her cheeks still tinged with that endearing blush that never failed to make my heart skip a beat.

Leaning in closer, I whispered conspiratorially, "Well, if they work, I might have to keep using them."

Her laughter filled the room, a melody that washed away any lingering tension. "Alright, but I'll be expecting some new material soon," she teased, poking me lightly in the ribs.

I feigned offense, placing a hand over my heart dramatically. "Are you saying my repertoire isn't extensive enough?"

She giggled, shaking her head. "I'm saying it's dangerously effective," she replied with a playful glint in her eyes.

As I held her close, She rested her head against my chest, her fingers gently curling around the fabric of my shirt. We stood there for a moment in comfortable silence, the warmth of her presence soothing my soul.

"Phi," she began softly, her voice barely above a whisper, "I never imagined... I mean, I never thought..."

I gently tilted her chin up so that she would look at me. "What is it, sweetie?" I asked, my heart racing with anticipation.

She took a deep breath, her gaze searching mine for reassurance. "I never dreamed that... that you would... fall in love with me," she admitted hesitantly, her cheeks turning a soft shade of pink.

I smiled tenderly, brushing a stray strand of hair away from her face. "Why wouldn't I, sweetie? You're incredible. The more I got to know you, the more I realized how much you mean to me," I confessed earnestly.
