Chapter 2 - agápi

I didn't want to go back home but I had too

When I arrived home the place looked like a disaster, there were bear bottles everywhere and some broken plates

My father was sleeping on the couch with a half drunk bear bottle beside him

I knew i had to clean up the place because if I don't he will probably do something bad to me, I'm so freaking terrified of him

I started cleaning up as fast as possible so that I can go to my room
I jumped when I heard a noise causing the glass that I was holding to slit my hand "fudge" i said
I looked behind to make sure he's still sleeping and thank God he is
I through the things in the trash can and go up to my room

When I went up to my room I entered the bathroom that was connected to it, I got out the first aid kit that i have and took out the bandage so that i could rap my hand
After I was done i went in my room and changed into a tank top and some sweatpants

I slip into bed and take out my phone opening Instagram while I was swiping through Instagram I saw a post that caught my eyes

The headline was
* THE MEADOWS FAMILY LEAVING GREECE AND COMING TO AMERICA*

That's not what shocked what shocked me is that the guy i bumped into today is in the picture

"holy shit" i said to myself
Is he famous or something?
I mean why would they announce his families arrival if he wasn't
FUDGE I SPILT COFFEE ON HIM
He's going to sue isn't he

Maybe i should seduce him
FREAK what am i even saying

I couldn't think about this right now so I closed the phone and went to sleep

I woke up to my alarm at 7am so that I could leave the house before my dad could wake up

I looked through my clothes (i don't even have that much) and chose a comfy outfit

I left the house as fast as possible and started walking to the coffee shop

I entered the coffee shop and was met with Mrs. Katie

"Hey mrs katiee" i say while giving her a hug
"Tuana dear I told you to just call me katie mrs makes me sound old"
"you aren't old Mrs Katie don't worry" she's literally in her sixties..
"ohh thank you darling now can you come help me?"
"of course what can I help with"
"just take the orders and serve them"

And that's what i did
It's 5:00pm now and I'm about to pass out, I haven't eaten anything yet and I think it's catching up to me

The bell above the door rings signaling that someone came
I internally role my eyes cursing the person out

When I went to take the order I almost trip over because of who I see in front of me and the dizziness isn't helping with that
In front of me stands the GUY who i spilled my drink over
Freak FREAKK

How could this day get any worse
"um so are you just going to stare at me?" he asked with a bored tone
I realized I was staring to much
"s- sorry you could go take a seat I'll be right over to take your order"
Nope I'm not taking his order

"Mrs katie can you take the order for that guy over there?" I ask
"I'm busy Tuana so go"
"thank you so much for your help Mrs Katie" I say sarcastically

I take a deep breath and go up to him
"okay hi so what would you like to order" god why do sound like that
"just a black coffee" i grimace eww who orders black coffee

"um is there a problem?" he raises his brow
"nope, anything else?"
"maybe just a slice of vanilla cake"
Boring mothertrucker
"okay" i say without another word

I took his order from the kitchen and started walking back to the table
I was swaying abit when suddenly the mug fell to the floor shattering
I flinched the sound triggering me
Shit shit, I drop to the floor and started removing the glass

suddenly I felt a hand on my back, it was him

"get up you'll get hurt" he said with a small frown on his face
My mind wasn't comprehending anything at the moment the only thing I was thinking about was my father there were probably tears in my eyes by now i probably look like a mess

☆Ares pov☆

I was sitting when suddenly I heard a sound of glass shattering I looked up from my phone to a mug shattered on the floor and that annoying girl kneeling done picking it up

She's going to get herself hurt
I stood up and went up to her, she looks scared I put my hand on her shoulder shaking her abit
She looked up at me

"get up you'll get hurt" I told her
She looked like she couldn't comprehend anything and the people started turning there heads

"Fuck" I said more as a whisper

I put my hands under her arm and picked her up she wrapped her arms around my neck hiding her face in the crook of my neck

Now everyone was watching making my blood boil
"Mind your fucking business" i said with a loud voice wich made everyone turn there heads

Leaving the cafe with her still in my arms.
I went to my car opened the door and put her inside
When I looked at her face I saw some tears running down it
What could trigger her so much?
"Tuana" i said looking at her
She looked up at me "yes" she asked with a crack in her voice
"let me take you home" she just nodded at me

I closed her door and went around the car getting into the seat
"can you show me the address" I asked with a kind voice
I internally cringe at that why do I sound like that
"yeah sure here" she said

I started the car and sped of on the road

She looked abit calmer
"soooooo what's your name"
"Ares" i said
"Oooooo just like the Greek god"
The faintest smile shows on my face
"

yeah i guess"

"you can stop here" she said pointing at the side of the road

"but your house is still three blocks ahead" I said more as a question

"yeah I know but I want to walk"

Hm weird "okay fine" I stopped the car and got out going to her door and opening it
"Oo didn't think you were the gentleman type"

"shut up"
She got out of the car
"thank you for what you did today"
"hmm no problem agápi"
"agápi?"

"go it's getting late" i said
"okay goodnight!"
"Kalinýchta agápi"
She waves and then starts walking in the direction of her house
