It's the first chapter yet it is time for our soulmates to meet each other, ignore the mistakes plz.
In the heart of the lush jungle, Towering trees, draped in cascading vines, form a canopy that filters the dappled sunlight, casting a mesmerizing play of shadows upon the jungle floor. The air is thick with the chorus of chirping insects, while delicate butterflies leave a path of shimmers where they fly. Amidst this vibrant ecosystem, a boy is feeling pride bloom in his chest as all the arrows that leave his bow get attracted to the red dot on a tree. the birds chirping in appreciation.
today is one of the days when instead of his physical strength he is giving all his attention to archery, feeling satisfied with the result he drops the hand holding the bow and swipes off the bead of sweat trickling down on his smooth honey tan skin. suddenly he hears a yelp and the sound of something dragging, he takes the leftover arrows and follows the sound, after walking for a while, turning and leaping from some rocks he sees a figure hanging on the tree, in a net. on walking closer he finds a boy not much older than him struggling to come out of the net.
"don't," he says, in a neutral voice. "these nets are designed by dark magic to absorb all the energy of elemental powers of those trapped inside, the more you struggle the more they shrink" he added.
"th..then what am I supposed to do be trapped in this shit like a goddamn FISH," the one trapped inside said, his voice a mix of fear, anger, and frustration.
the boy sighed, keeping his bow and arrow aside and taking out the dagger placed in the scabbard around his thigh "When did I say you have to be 'trapped in that shit like a goddamn fish', " the boy said mimicking the voice of the hanging boy and went climbing up the tree he was on, sitting on the tall branch where the top of the net was twirling the dagger around his fingers.
the boy inside seemed to have understood what he was about to do, "OH, HEY!! W..WAIT HEY YOU LITTLE MONKEY DON'T CUT THE NET I AM HOLDING NOTHING I WILL FALL, AAHHH ARE YOU LISTENI....." he shouted and started falling and as he was about to shift into a wolf to ease the fall, two hands grasped his in a tight hold and when he started dangling in the air he turned his head to see the boy holding his hand upside down his knees gripping the branch and holding both of their weight.
the boy tsked and said "What? You are not a butterfly just jump already!! " coming out of the shock the boy nodded and jumped the little height that was left. after landing safely he inhaled in relief and again looked up to see........no one!!!! 'where did the boy go??' the whistle behind him broke his thought and he turned around to see the boy keeping the dagger back and looking at him.
"THANK YOUUU" the boy shouted "Thank you, thank you, thank you, you are a savior boy except for the stunt you pulled there I am very grateful to you," he said now in a very calm and grateful voice "felt like something was boiling inside me and about to come out ."
"You welcome and yeah that was just your wolf trying to use your power to free you and it was getting observed by that net," the boy said as a matter of fact." by the way we still have not introduced ourselves" the boy took a step backward standing in a more straight posture and cleared his throat"hello, my name is park jimin from silver moon pack. nice to meet you," the boy named jimin said and smiled at him, his eyes disappearing into the crescent formed.
the boy in front of him smiled and said"Nice to meet you too jimin. I am Kim Taehyung not a rouge but a wanderer" taehyung said, "Ah, taehyung I am sorry for the way I talked before it's just-" "no problem, you were panicked I understand" he assured him" and what were you doing this deep in the forest there are many traps like those here" he asked "oh that, I was patrolling my border when I saw some rouges running here I thought to follow them to make sure they were not doing something" he said sheepishly making taehyung frown 'how come? I never heard anyone coming ' he thought despite having no elemental power his senses were very sharp for a normal person or even a wolf.
"-imin, jimin a-are you alright" a new voice brought him out of his thought as he saw another man hugging him tightly 'his mate probably' he thought again, "yoonie I am alright, see. sorry for worrying you I got so panicked while I was up there, I called you on instinct," jimin said feeling guilty as to have made the man next to him work extra. "that's okay, are you sure you are not hurt somewhere and please tell me properly what happened?" the boy asked voice laced with worry, "no yoonie I am not, all thanks to taehyung " the mentioned boy was about to leave when the mention of his name made him halt.
"taehyung???" asked the boy, "Yes, taehyung come here please. yoonie this is Kim taehyung my friend and the one who saved me, and taehyung, this is Min Yoongi, my mate," Jimin said, "hello taehyung thank you for saving my mate," said yoongi, "not a problem" taehyung waved his hand dismissively." now jimin tell me what happened" asked yoongi in a soft but firm voice."u-umm....yoonie you see I might have seen some rouges running inside the forest and I might have followed them and then I might have trapped in a net " jimin said nervously."jimina you never listen to me do you I said you have to take rest after your last fight" "sorry yoonie, it's just that I got worried about it " said Jimin in a soft voice."aaand I think I should go now you two go to your pack safely there are many nets like that here" said taehyung not wanting to see if things escalated between the couple, but "nets, are they not normal ??" asked yoongi "no they are not they are designed to absorb your elemental power, so be careful going back " he said leaving the place"taehyung wait, why don't you come with us? you are a wanderer right it might be a great change of place. what say?" he asked hopefully wanting to know the newly made friend better.
"is there really a reason for me to come???" taehyung asked teasingly although it was true that he was about to go to any random pack the next morning to spend a few days though it was nothing Jimin had to know about now, did he?? "um you and I both are friends now do I need a reason to tell you to stay for a few days???" he said voice very small, this time not hiding his true intention. taehyung smiled at him concerned about the fact that his new friend is way too pure for the world."alright let's go I don't have that much with me. Oh, and don't trust anyone so easily everyone out there is not like you. okay??? " yoongi who was standing quietly nodded his supportively his mate truly thought that this world is pure like him.
"okaayyyyy, let's gooo. everyone will be very happy to meet you tae I'm sure" Jimin said dragging both his friend and mate with him 'I hardly think that' taehyung thought bitterly 'anyway let's see how this silver moon pack treats someone without powers ' he continued mentally rolling his eyes as they drifted further to their destination.
