Shubhman's POV

We both were in kitchen preparing dinner for the two poisonous beings My Buas. I don't want to leave my lady alone for them to speak ill of her. I just hope she have got rid of the morning issues. Currently she is looking happy.

My thoughts literally broke when she started to speak.

"Shubh pass me the butter please." She said to me and I did that. I could feel two strong gazes on us. It's them who else.

Their husbands didn't do these things for them maybe. But it doesn't mean they can restrict me like that.

We finally made the dinner.
And settled at our own perspective chairs.

"It's the duty of daughter in law to serve her in laws and husband, so eat after all of us finish our dinner."  That stupid old lady started again.

"Pooja do you need anything else. Some Manchurian ?" I offered the bowl to Pooja and served it to her completely ignoring them.

"Anything for you buaji" I asked them and they both glared at me but who cares.

"We have our flight tomorrow at 6 pm. Be ready we'll leave at 4." I told them.

"Haa son fine." Sarla bua answered extra sweetly. God knows what she is planning.

We had our dinner and throughout the dinner time I didn't let anyone hurt her by words.

We came to our room. She was busy packing.

I had told my designer to make a lehenga for her for the veneration.
It's a beautiful one.

I have invited all my ICT members to my house.
I don't really know how many poisonous snakes like these will be present there MY SO CALLED RELATIVES.

I really wanted to talk to her but I don't know if she is fine to talk now or not as it's late night.

"Pooja if you don't mind can we talk ?" I asked. And she without wasting a second sat on the couch and patted on the seat beside her. I went and sat near.

"Pooja I hope you aren't having a problem due to them. Did they tell you anything else. If so you can tell me that." I told her.

"I am fine Shubman don't think about it anymore." She replied placing her hand on mine.

"There will be more people like them in our house. Beware and stay with me. Or else they will only try to hurt you." I replied encaging her hand inbetween mine. She smiled at me.

The next moment she rested her head on my shoulder. It's a nice feeling.

I am happy that she is being comfortable around me and I'm being comfortable with her too. I just hope everything is fine.

Shubhman's POV ends

Pooja's POV

He told me he need to talk to me. All he had to speak was about his relatives and to stay away from them. He is trying to make our relation strong.

What I wanted this moment was his presence. I rested my head on his shoulder freeing myself from all thoughts running through my mind. The next moment he engaged  my hand within his.

My hand seems to be small in between them. We both stayed mum. No words in between only emotions and silent conversations.

He was massaging my palm because of which I was feeling a bit drowsy. He is literally playing with my fingers in between. Such a cutie he is.

He really supported me today. He went against his Buaji for me. He believes in me. I am the luckiest to have this man in my life.

Shubhman's POV

She wasn't talking anymore nor she moved. And yes she is asleep.
I picked her up and laid her on our bed without waking her up. She is such a baby when she sleep. I covered her with a duvet and went to my side.

She suddenly swirled in sleep to me. She fits in my hug perfectly. I couldn't obstruct myself from hugging her. And she snuggled more into me.
The hair locks which has fallen off from her braid it was messy but still beautiful.

God knows what all she will have to endure in my house. No matter what I can't take the risk of leaving her alone.

•°•

We landed at my homeland and my cousin came to pick us. I opted to drive and got into the driver seat and Pooja in the passenger seat. She was excited to meet my mom and it was evident on her face.

Just like a calmness before a storm the both disasters were silent throughout the journey. God knows what is going on their mind.

But Pooja isn't really thinking about them that's good.

We finally reached home. And mom came to door and stopped using to take an Aarti or would be better to say that my mom is taking my wife's Aarti. After marriage I literally lost my mom to my wife. She is all Pooja's now. My mom welcomed us in.

I told the staff to keep out luggage in room. And then sat with my dad.

All our ICT buddies are arriving tomorrow. And will stay for a week they can. This is their house too. And many rooms are empty only.

The day passed so fast. We both literally slumped on our bed due to tiredness.
