"Damn, she was screaming a lot."

At this statement, Colin turned around, his curiosity piqued. He had just stepped into the hallway in the basement when he noticed a young man standing before him - about the same age, tall, blonde, and annoyingly good-looking. Colin had to admit, even he could see the appeal. He gave him a subtle nod, and opened the door to chamber 9 a little wider so that Chris - the newest member of the DAY! community - could take a peek inside.

"She's still kicking," Colin said, shrugging his shoulders. "Just wanted to get my wife. She's kinda into watching the grand final."

"This is so fucking hot, I can't even!" Chris exclaimed, his eyes as wide as saucers. "I mean, not your wife specifically - I mean, yeah, she's a total ten, don't get me wrong. But the idea of experiencing something like this with someone? Unreal, man!" He paused, then let out an enthusiastic, "Oh, fuck, what... Oh FUCK!" as he caught a glimpse of what was going on inside the room.

"Yep, yep, I hear ya," Colin murmured, rubbing his chin like a mad scientist about to unveil his latest creation. "I'm just, you know, experimenting a little lately."

Colin proceeded to fill Chris in on exactly what he had done to the poor woman and the various things he had already tried. Chris, eyes gleaming with a morbid curiosity, started peppering him with questions. Before long, the two were sitting on the basement floor, passing a joint back and forth, deep in discussion about the finer points of torture, and the funniest ways to kill.

A little while later, Wanda sauntered in, letting out a knowing giggle. "Somehow I had a feeling about you two." She tiptoed over to Colin, planted a sultry kiss on his lips, then turned to leave. But at the doorway, she paused, throwing a saucy wink Colin's way. "Tonight, baby, we've got that couple from cell 8 to take care of. We finish them..." She flashed him a coy smirk, "And I'll be sure to... finish you off." With that, she sashayed out of the room, leaving the two men to their extracurricular activities.

When the door slammed shut behind Wanda, Colin let out a soft chuckle, his gaze fixed intently on his hands. His fingers on his right hand absentmindedly twirled the wedding ring, and he couldn't help but wonder, not for the first time, what on earth he had done to deserve this. The life he now found himself living, with the perfect wife and two adorable children. Colin was more than happy, he knew, he would never be able to put that into words.

Then, just as quickly as Colin had been lost in his own troubled thoughts, Chris snapped him back to the present. "You really love her, don't you?" he asked, a hint of genuine curiosity in his voice. There was no judgment, no mocking - just a simple, honest question from one twisted soul to another.

"Fuck, yes, man." Colin leaned his head against the wall and closed his eyes, a goofy grin spreading across his face. The marijuana had kicked in, leaving him feeling as light as a feather. "We've only been married four years now, but I know this will last forever. Until death do us part," he declared dramatically as if sealing a pact with the cosmos.

"One day, I'll find a girl," Chris mused, his eyes sparkling with a mischievous glint. "Maybe not a Killer Bride, but... you know, someone I can stand for a few decades."

Colin eyed the guy, surprisingly finding himself taking a liking to this kindred spirit. There was just something about his self-assured demeanor and shared obsession with all things torturous that made Colin feel an instant kinship. That's why he invited Chris over to his humble abode that fateful day.

And so, just four short weeks after Chris had made his way to Youngsville, there he was, sitting at the Day family dinner table. Colin was shockingly unperturbed by the prospect of having another admitted murderer around his precious offspring.
