LILY'S POV
I'm leaving. I say going into our room to grab some of my things. Ryle is following close behind me I can almost feel him breathing down my neck. "You're not leaving me, I will not allow it." Watch me I say calmly. I push past him and start to walk down the stairs. I will no longer live my life in fear. "Where are you going to go? Who would want you anyway?" I've learned not to be shocked by his words anymore. I'm getting the hell away from you I know that for sure. "The hell you are." I feel a hard shove. Everything fades to instant black.
ATLAS' POV
It's 10am on the dot. I got here a little early in case Lily needed me. I've just been watching for anything suspicious. Ryle was supposed to be gone by 9:30 am. But I see him just now leaving their building with his bags in hand. A pit forms in my stomach and I immediately feel it in my bones that something is up. I quickly get out of my truck and take off towards their apartment. I finally get to the floor, I find their apartment and I use the secret key that Lily gave me to let myself in. I see Lily laying on the floor. "LILY OH MY GOD!"I say running over to her. A moan escapes her lips. "Lily sweetheart wake up!" Her eyes shoot open Atlas? What happen? "I think he pushed me...help me up." Stay down I'm calling 911. "No I'm fine." If you won't let me call 911 we're going to the hospital.
LILY'S POV
It's 10:15am we're now waiting in the waiting room... a few minutes later "Lily Kincaid" I flinch at the sound of my own name. That'll need to be changed as soon as possible. Atlas insist on coming back with me.
A petite blonde with blue eyes she can't be no more than 25 years old is my nurse. "My name is Emersyn. I've looked over your chart. You're safe here Mrs Kincaid." I again flinch at just the mention of the name Kincaid. Please don't call me that, call me Lily. This is my best friend Atlas. He saved me today. "You saved yourself Lily by getting out. I'm just here to help in anyway I can." "He's right you know. I was in the same situation 5 years ago. I knew I had to get out to save my own life." We finish going over what's needed. "I'll get you that Tylenol for your headache. The dr will probably want to do a CT scan.
5 minutes Later
Dr Miller comes in...We again go over what happened.."I'd like to run some test. Is there any chance you could be pregnant?" No I say almost positive I'm not. "We'll run tests just to make sure." Ok I say...I'm handed a cup and told to go fill it to the line that's indicated. I do as asked. Atlas being sweet atlas is trying to comfort me. "It's going to be ok...he gives a sweet smile. 20 minutes later the dr comes back with the results of the pregnancy test. "You are in fact pregnant." I'm in stunned shock. I'm silent for what seems like several minute. I burst into tears to the point of hyperventilating. I can feel Atlas pull me into a warm embrace. "Shhhhh it's ok....he whispers into my ear....
What will Lily do? What will Atlas do?
