Brian sat up in his bed, rubbing his eyes as he took in a deep breath. He had carried Zacky into his bed last night after the two of them fell asleep on the couch, and now, he wanted to make him breakfast. He had to let Zacky know he was sorry for jumping to conclusions.. Sure, Brian was still hurt, but he definitely had his reasons to be hurt. After a minute of stroking the glossy, raven-colored hair away from his lover's resting face, Brian hoisted himself up out of bed and trudged into the living room, rubbing the sleep from his brown eyes once more. He then made his way into the kitchen, making sure he was quiet enough to not disturb the sleeping angel in the other room as he pulled out several pots and pans, deciding that he would make pancakes, bacon and eggs for breakfast.
His stomach growled as he began pulling the eggs and bacon out of the fridge, but he pushed it away as he set them on the counter and then grabbed the pancake mix from the cupboard. He sang quietly as he cracked open five eggs and dropped them into a skillet, scrambling them around before they could get too hot and become over-easy. This is the first time I've cooked breakfast for someone I've dated.. Brian suddenly realized, his cheeks becoming warm with a sudden realization. He was in love with Zacky. That's why he was so upset when he saw Blaze kiss him; he was so over the moon for Zacky, and he hadn't even realized it until just now.

In the other room, Zacky was just barely stirring from his content slumber when the distinct scent and sound of cooking bacon wafted into the room. He took in a deep breath, savoring the smell for a moment before he decided he should get up out of bed. Brian must have carried me in here last night.. Zacky thought as he rubbed his hazel eyes, then he ripped the covers away from his legs and hopped out of the comfortable, plush bed. As soon as his feet hit the floor, he trotted out of the bedroom and made his way into the kitchen to find Brian at the stove, a minimal bit of sweat on his furrowed brow as he feverishly tended to the breakfast food; bacon, pancakes and scrambled eggs. After flipping a third pancake, Brian glanced over, then grinned widely when he fully noticed Zacky standing there.
"Hi, love. I hope you're hungry, I'm making plenty." He said, turning his attention back to the stove as he flipped the pancake onto a plate.
"What's all this for?" Zacky raised a curious brow, snatching a cooked piece of bacon from the plate that was next to the pancakes. After a scolding glance from Brian, he started chuckling, shaking his head as he poured some more pancake batter into the skillet.
"Nothing, really. Just thought you'd be hungry." Brian replied with a soft smile. The hazel-eyed man nodded, still not convinced that Brian's true motive was that he thought Zacky would be hungry. Was he trying to apologize for something? If anything, Zacky felt like he was the one that should be apologized; he let another man kiss him, for God's sake! But he hadn't wanted it.. So was it technically cheating?
"Alright, well.. I'll set the table." Zacky muttered, grabbing two clean plates from the cabinet; he then grabbed two forks and two cups, setting all the items on the table. "Do you keep your syrup in the fridge?" He asked, opening the refrigerator door.
"Yeah, it's on the second shelf on the door. Orange juice is in the back, if you want it." The brown-eyed man replied over his shoulder, flipping one last pancake onto a plate and then carrying the plate over to the table. Zacky nodded, grabbing the syrup and then the orange juice from the fridge before he placed both items onto the table, watching as Brian carried over two plates; one had bacon and one had eggs, but both were piled high with the food items.

During breakfast, neither of the couple spoke much. Brian didn't even really speak at all, just the occasional 'yeah' or quiet chuckle. Zacky knew something was wrong, but he didn't want to press the issue; at the same time, though, he needed to know what was wrong with his boyfriend. He hoped it wasn't something he had done or said to upset him. Then again, they hadn't really said much to each other since last night, so there wasn't much he could have said to upset Brian.
"Brian.. Is something bothering you?" The hazel-eyed man murmured softly, wrapping his arms around Brian's waist from behind as his taller love washed their used dishes. He rested his chin on the brown-eyed man's broad shoulder, pulling him closer to him by his waist.
"No, why do you ask?" The taller man replied after a minute of hesitation, his entire body tensed. Of course there was something wrong; he had witnessed the love of his life be forcefully kissed by someone else, anyone with a reasonable brain would be upset by that.
"Brian, I can tell when something is wrong with you.. Please, tell me what it is.." Zacky pleaded, his lower lip trembling. He just wanted to help.
"Look, I.." He sighed, placing the rest of the dishes in the sink and then turning off the water, turning around to face his hazel-eyed lover. "When I saw Blaze kiss you, I.. My stomach dropped. I couldn't figure out why it hurt me so much, and then, I realized it's.." Brian choked up, looking down at his shoes. The hazel-eyed man raised his brows, lacing their fingers together.
        "Brian..?" He whispered.
"I-I think.. I think I'm in love with you, Zacky." He finally murmured, letting their gazes lock together at last. Zacky's hazel eyes widened in shock as his mouth dropped open, and he could only stutter a few syllables in reply. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to freak you out, I-" Suddenly, Brian's speech was cut off by a pair of plush, full lips on his own. Zacky was kissing him. He pressed Brian against the counter, keeping their fingers laced together as his tongue slipped into the brown-eyed man's instinctively opened mouth. Brian gasped quietly, letting his eyes slide closed as he swirled his tongue around Zacky's.
"I love you too, Brian.." Zacky whispered, pulling him over to the couch; once they were there, he shoved Brian down onto his back and then straddled his lap, letting his lips seal onto an exposed area of Brian's neck. The brown-eyed man released a soft moan, letting his tan hands wander to Zacky's backside so he could grip it firmly and then give it a rough, playful swat. "I want to take you this time, Bri.." He whispered hotly into the other man's ear.
"Please.." Brian whispered back, and with that, he allowed Zacky to take control for the first time, eager to show his love and loyalty to the man he was so in love with.

Brian couldn't believe the pleasure that came from letting Zacky be the dominant one. He had never experienced anything so amazing in his entire life; if he was honest, a few times during their 'episode' Brian had considered staying permanently submissive. He wouldn't be able to, though. He loved the control he had when he was dominant, and Zacky honestly loved being controlled during sex.

The brown-eyed man turned on the tub faucet, pulling up the stopper so that the tub would begin to fill up. Zacky stood naked behind him, shivering a little bit at how cold the air in Brian's apartment was. "It'll be full in a minute, just hold on." Brian murmured over his shoulder, a warm smile on his face as he poured some bubble bath solution into the water. As soon as the tub was full, Brian climbed in and then opened his arms, welcoming Zacky to lay on top of him.
"This is nice.." Zacky murmured as he laid in Brian's arms, his cheek firmly pressed into the strong, tan collarbones.
"Yeah, it really is.." The brown-eyed man murmured in return, his fingers slowly combing through Zacky's raven colored hair. "I love you, Zacky.." He whispered sleepily, his eyes already closed.
"I love you, too, Brian.." The hazel-eyed man whispered back, snuggling deeper against Brian's warm chest before he closed his eyes as well. Both men drifted off to sleep in their bubble bath, content with laying in one another's arms and knowing that no matter what happened, they would always have each other's love to return to at the end of each and every single day.
